At this point, its difficult to understand what would be Fauci’s rationale for not resigning … In the beginning months of the pandemic, it appeared that Fauci was able to, by being on the inside, at least a limited extent, have some positive influence on administration policy … But its clear that Fauci’s influence on policy has increasingly diminished to the point where it is now negligible. To preserve his own reputation, and to serve the best interest of the nation, Fauci should now resign in protest of Trump’s reckless disregard of public health.

I’d suggest that Biden’s folks see to it that he not give Putin any chance to get at him with something non-lethal that leaves him looking disoriented. That means no public facilities.

In keeping with #ETTD we will see more than 60K new deaths by election and who knows how much more disinformation. The disinformation will make it extremely hard for the Biden administration to get this under control. Even with a vaccine and assuming it provides long lasting immunity, we are in for a long slog to deploy enough doses to get to so called herd immunity. If like some fear it does not provide long term immunity this thing may be seasonal liker the flu. We are all waiting for the promised Pence miracle. I wouldn’t hold me breath.
