The more warped speed the Votecine, the more sane people won’t take it.

The most logical area where testing is needed is among people who have been exposed to Covid.

After that lie fest, Giroir should resign.

Not surprising at all. My first thought when I heard about this was that the White House changed the
guidelines for testing. Can’t have too many cases as it is closer to election day.

Pretty sad when you have to schedule a surgery to provide yourself with a plausible alibi against Oval Trailer lies?

Thank you for your incredible service, Dr. Fauci…

Gee, funny how they are changing the testing method, in a way that will decrease the number of positive tests, just before we get into voting season. It’s almost like they want to depress the bad news and make people think things are getting better so they vote Republican, regardless of if it’s true or if the disease is really under control…if anything this makes it more likely we’ll see hospitals fill up with people. Though, I suppose that they can just modify how hospitalization rates are measured or reported, so that no one knows, and then wave away all the dead people because they were never tested or reported to have COVID.

It’s just another instance of Trump and company twisting the government to help their electoral chances…there’s building evidence that they are doing a bunch of little things like this behind the scenes to turn the election in their favor. It really needs to be investigated, so that the people know how the power of government is being abused by them, and how much further they will go towards lawlessness if they stay in power.

Giroir went on to say that the Trump administration would use “surge testing sites to look for asymptomatic individuals” once outbreaks were already detected.

Fuck this: it’s just an assurance that the virus will stay alive in the population.
Giroir’s completely ignored, as the administration has apparently discarded, that testing is to identify and quarantine the infected to prevent continuing spread of the disease.
What a tool.

Yeah, but how will they stop people from dying?

People will still die. Their deaths simply won’t be attributable to the virus, if there’s no testing.

Problem solved, right?

That’s easy…they just won’t report them as COVID deaths. Excess deaths don’t count as COVID deaths for these people, they want to avoid the reporting as much as possible; by the time epidemiologists figure out how many of the excess deaths are due to COVID it will be long after the election, and not of any interest to anyone unless people are still dying.

Some States have already said these guidelines are poppycock and they’re gonna keep on keepin’ on with testing.

NY and CA have already stated.

They won’t.
The actions of the administration and its mouthpieces show a depraved indifference to the lives and welfare of the people of this country and they should be appropriately charged.

an administration so evil and corrupt in its intentions, it waits until one of its top doctors is anesthetized to craft its deceptive health policy

Adm. Brett Giroir, HHS assistant secretary for health, pushed back on those reports earlier on Wednesday, and specifically said that Dr. Fauci was involved in signing off on the change.

“They originated in the CDC as a CDC product,” Giroir said. “I worked on them. Dr. Fauci worked on them. And Dr. Birx worked on them, Dr. Hahn worked on them. Dr. Atlas provided input.”

Short answer: Giroir should shush now.

Now if you’re talking about voters that only have one functioning brain cell then this might work. But I sure hope that those with 2 or more can see how we got to this point, paid attention to how other countries are doing, and realize that since day one Trump has been a clusterfuck of stupid.
