On Monday morning, White House COVID-19 task force member Dr. Anthony Fauci warned the right-wing protesters defying their governors’ stay at home orders that the economic relief they’re seeking won’t come if they flout the orders.
Trump is always angry and petulant. Most if not all of Trumps supporters are always angry and petulant. They rant and rave and never listen. They do not take responsibility for their decisions or behavior. They refuse to compromise and hunker down in their self-righteousness. It is sickening, literally.
Call them out. They’re getting paid to go out and protest about going back to work.
And…call out their “employers”.

For any of this to matter, these protesters would have to believe the virus is real and a true threat. They dont, simply because Libs say it is. As long as the librul elites tell them it’s dangerous, they’re going to protest it is not, and therefore they wont ever see the need for getting this “under control”.
I’m convinced we need Pelosi to publish an op-ed in the NYT on how important it is to not lick doorknobs and share food with strangers, especially in Midwestern states.

Protests won’t stop until protesters start getting sick and dying and then decide to stay home and go on Facebook and talk about how they knew it was deadly the whole time.
A few words on those “spontaneous” demonstrations that the media love to depict as the fabled Little Guy against heartless governors:
So often we seek analogies in attempting to illuminate a current situation. I remember my father telling me of blackout drills performed in WWII years. Out of fear of foreign invasion home preparedness agencies would conduct drills requiring citizens to turn off all their lights, in order to make population centers less identifiable from the air should an invading air force conduct bombing runs. These were no different that what actual nations had to do in Europe and elsewhere to deal with aerial bombing.
What would have happened if the populace rose up and claimed having to turn off their lights at night constituted an infringement on their rights? Taken another step, what if citizens had been egged on by Roosevelt, as he felt being prepared for aerial bombardment took a back seat to personal political considerations? What would his war department have thought of people flouting self defense measures at the President’s encouragement?
Facts vs. feelings.
With the minions, feelings are always going to win out.
They FEEL their rights are being trampled on. They FEEL that the quarantine is designed to keep the sheeple in line. They FEEL that the numbers of confirmed and dead are artificially inflated.
I wonder where they get this all from? Three guesses and the first two don’t count…

I ride my bike down the lake 3 miles from my house to watch birds about 3 times a week. There a guy who who always sits in the same spot to fish and we have always have a little chat. He’s a nice guy, and we always keep it civil. He is your stereotypical Trump follower in many ways. We ventured from discussing fish and ospreys into politics. He only watches Fox news. He calls himself an independent. Although we do agree on a few things, the last time we chatted about Trump not doing anything to prepared and I tried to express Trump’s denial and inaction until mid-March- his response was “Obama didn’t do anything for the stockpiles of gear”. He has a way of spreading his hands apart as makes his point as if this is the only thing that matters and it can’t be argued with. So until Fox tells him otherwise, he’s not going to really believe anything that he doesn’t want to believe. And that’s what we’re up against.
Unfortunately, Fauci saying this is going to have the opposite effect. These freaks already are calling for his firing. A scientist asking them to stay at home is like feeding them crazy-crank. They are going to be in the streets with signs telling Fauci to F Off!
