Kissing ass because it’s the only way to still be able to do your goddamn job.

If Trump were to fire him, well . . . he just thought he had his hands full with Paula Reid yesterday.

Maybe Dr. Fauci is just a better judge of character than we commoners are.

Scorned, now Trump is veering in the direction of firing Fauci.
It’s simply a matter of when the Covidiot deems the doctor’s lending of credibility to him- is outweighed by his childish egotist urges.

Fauci, at this juncture, would do well to foster his own platform to advise the public. This current gig isn’t going to last much longer.

I think this is what is often referred to as deja vu all over again

Sad that he has become a careerist and enabler of garbage. Why does Fauci have to think about this job and not quit ? is it because he thinks he is the only person saving us, like all the other enablers in this administration, who are all out (Kerry, Mattis etc.) This is a peculiar combination of entitlement and self-regard, nothing will work without this talented individual being in office, much like the self-regard bloomberg had for himself and got himself a third term

In a way the press perpetuates this one-man hero view of events and happenings.

Yes. Please fire him. I’m sure Joe Biden will provide a platform for him.

a “trusted” advisor" who Trump contradicts 20 times a day.

Trump is keeping Fauci on, just to keep him quiet. He fires him, and Anthony has free rein to go on as many shows as he wants, and say anything. And Trump knows it.

You kidding??

Trump fires Fauci, and ALL the networks will be bidding to get him on first. Trump’s keeping him employed, to keep him quiet.

Yesterday’s display of fealty indicates rather strongly that Fauci fears for his job. I suspect that’s more for the responsibility of the position than the salary, but he’s still willing to prostrate himself before the Orange Throne.

I’d rather it be a politically independent platform, if at all.
There will come a point-- possibly not too far off-- where the public health officials from the hardest hit COVID-19 states will become the focus for information.

Fauci-- is our short-term stopgap.

The new coalitions of East Coast and West Coast states almost ensures the formation of public information outlets to share their findings. Hopefully daily. Those governors’ staffs have the resources to coordinate this type of effort.

As we pass the 2 million case level, and the U.S. continues to be the world epicenter, somebody has to be tossed into the volcano to appease Trumpski’s god of irresponsibility.

It was an accident, honest.

They must appease the Woo!

COVID is calling this one, son, not you. Don’t get overcute. Don’t get too high on yourself. ** Remember that Trump will use every legal and illegal means to dominate. You are just the latest in a series of individuals this Orange ghoul will use up.

Being too-cute-by-half got idiotic John Bolton a book cancellation.

** Fauci reminds me of the chaps who run with the bulls in Pamplona…except there is only one fat, diseased, corrupt, evil bull standing right beside him.
