When I sold my mother’s house in South Carolina a few years ago, I made some improvements before listing including new carpets. My name was on my mother’s checking account so I took the checkbook to Home Depot to purchase the new carpet. They refused to accept a check even though the bank was directly across the street. I was required to pay with a credit card or cash. How many people have credit cards good for thousands of dollars? Hence cash.
Of course, all those lemmings this piece of dreck is art.
I think the red tie and red belt are meant to conflate TFG with the Knights Templar, who protected pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem during the Middle Ages.
You know, it’s been quite the spectacle to see, almost one by one, all the media people that Democrats and Democratic supporters flocked to, liked, sought comfort in, have shown they were vacuous imbeciles talking out of their asses all along.
I always pay my credit card bills on time, and in full. I use my cash back at the end of the year to pay for my charitable donations. As a floor, not the ceiling.
We’re going in circles. Willis shouldn’t be DQ’d for taking vacations with anyone, even someone she hired. She should be DQ’d only if it can be proven that she was self dealing.
I think Willis wishes things were different, but they’re not. It really isn’t fair or realistic to expect her to cancel her personal life for three or four years, or more, while this case plays out.
I found a 2 quart sized Ball jar filled to the top with buffalo nickels in my Grandfather’s barn after he died. Dusty, out of the way, probably been there untouched for years. Took it to a coin collector and told him to do a valuation and cut me a check. Can’t remember now what it came to, I was the executor and it just got lost in the whirl of events.
Well, looks like someone enjoyed the Fellow Travelers story arc a bit too much.
PS — Compelling show, but even this gay guy had to laugh. I could feel for the straight British reviewer who praised the show, but at one point had to explain to his wife that, in a sense, she was correct when she thought he might be watching porn in the other room.
Yeah. It’s thing for a few Seniors too. On not a few occasions I’ve seen fellow old White Geezers in Costco buy a big TV set or a cartful of expensive items and pull out a wad of $100s and pay in cash.

My (not large) credit union tried to force a debit card on me (and the rest of their membership) several years ago. I called and said I DID NOT WANT a debit card. I’ll stick with the ATM card. There were enough people complaining that they didn’t want a debit card that they dropped it.
