Oh, for the love of . . .
I’ve been watching the whole area around my city burning for three weeks, worried about which way the wind was going to blow. Seeing a dense yellow fog hang over my town like some bizarre simulation of Tolkien’s Mordor for the past couple of days. And now we have to be subjected to the privilege of having our reality defined for us by these paranoid fools.
I’m not sure what option is most depressing.

My college computer science course had a concept of “last in first out” stacking, and it always seemed to explain Trump’s logic. What he says in a public gathering is always what he heard just prior to arrival — I think people in the White House have said similar things. The thing is, compared to that anyone with core convictions of any kind (like Biden) will appear incredibly lucid because there is a “through line” to what they say. So Don, Jr. must think it is witchcraft (Kimberly!) or drugs (sniff sniff!) — two topics with which he is very familiar.

Access to news outside your locale is part of it, but what’s new is how fast a viral meme like this Antifa nonsense can get picked up and spread. Rumors couldn’t propagate and infect people’s minds this fast before Facebook and Twitter.
The other factor of course is how easy these platforms have made it for foreign actors to spread disinformation. The Soviets couldn’t manipulate Walter Cronkite’s newscast back in the day.

Problem is folks simply get pig cosmetics all wrong.
They use red lipstick instead of muted pinks and generally overdo rouge. Many don’t even bother with eye treatments because pigs often fidget.
You just need patients.
