Former Trump National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster thinks President Trump fumbled during his off-the-rails debate against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden by refusing to condemn white supremacists.

I don’t think Trump could do an actual layup either. I hear Biden has a decent jump shot.

“No leader should encourage any group that is based on a narrow identity that aims to supersede our identity as Americans,” McMaster said, adding that “centripetal forces in our society” have now “created by this interaction of identity politics with racism and bigotry.”

“But I am willing to overlook that as long as he employs me in a position that I am clearly not qualified for” the former National Security Advisor added.

I posted this on “the Daily Stormer” thread, but it bears repeating:

Rachel had a scary, but fascinating interview last night with a professor who specializes in the study of militia, neo-nazi, and right wing groups. The interview is highly recommended because there is so little said about the social movement behind the violent anti-abortion attacks, etc. I remember during the Obama administration, there was an FBI report that said most domestic terrorists belong to these groups. The Repubs set up such a howl that true investigation of these terrorists has been stifled. Sorry I don’t have a link, but you could probably scroll through the recording of the broadcast - it’s near the end.

@ralph_vonholst he’s stealing your your word thing.
And if this is language he used around Trump no wonder he’s gone.

Why should anyone listen to one of prez Frankenstein’s enablers?

They helped keep the monster up and running, I hope it rips them all to shreds. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Oh, did you miss his White supremacism back when you were serving him as he applauded Very Fine people in Charlottesville?

You’d think a professor of military history would notice historic racism when it’s that blatant.

“And whenever you have a group at one end of the spectrum who define themselves in a particular way, you tend to get an equal and opposite reaction on the other end of the spectrum.”

When? When have there ever been groups that are “an equal and opposite reaction” to white supremacist groups in America? When? Which Black nationalists groups have terrorized and murdered scores of innocent white people? When has this been a thing?

He most certainly not used this language around the president. Had he done it Trump would still be torching him a la Jeff Serssions.

Condemning white supremacy should indeed be “a lay-up”, Mr. McMaster. I note that it is a task that you yourself seem un-able to accomplish.

White supremicist should not be opposed because “ And whenever you have a group at one end of the spectrum who define themselves in a particular way, you tend to get an equal and opposite reaction on the other end of the spectrum.” White supremists should be opposed because of the harm and violence they perpetuate and always have (also they are wrong.)

A former National Security Advisor should be able to clearly name the source of a threat and not both-sides intimidation and vigilantism

haha third comment out of 11. Seriously I don’t think I’ve ever seen him even walking quickly, much less getting that bulk off the ground.

McMaster went on to say he’s unsure why Trump failed to seize his chance to denounce white supremacists during the debate, and called it a “missed opportunity.”

Duh. McMaster, racism and xenophobia are the base of the base.

One more reason I miss Obama.

There were two New Panther Party guys at a polling station in a black neighborhood maybe ten years ago… wingnuts love to bring those guys up.

Not my favorite person in the Universe, either, but every military type who speaks against Trump is welcome to do so (in my view).

Speaking of which … In the encounter the other night, Trump challenged Biden to name a single police organization that had endorsed him. Do you recall Biden’s response?

Yeah. He kept himself in great shape at an age when a lot of Americans start letting themselves go. Just an all-around disciplined guy. Is rather a contrast. But Biden’s a great example for the seniors. Pushing eighty and quite vigorous. Props to him too.

You have to remember exactly how easily “spooked” these pure-driven snowflakes can be.

They find the mere existence of black people terrorizing.
