Flynn deserves this smack down, and prison time. Another traitor. Now watch Cadet Bone Spurs pitch an immediate twitter hissy fit.

O/U on “Miscariarge of jusitce!” tweets tonight? 20.5? He’s going to go ballistic, especially with Barr egging him on to fire-bomb Sullivan’s courthouse…

I just got a thrill up my leg.

Seriously, if we had an independent DOJ then traitor Flynn would have been in jail all this time.

My God. Where was this guy when Stone was being prosecuted? I would have loved to that read that brief from Gleeson.

A great response from Judge Gleeson and it just underscores the need to get out the vote to take back the Senate. If Moscow Mitch is allowed to continue stocking the federal judgeships with right wing ideologues voices like Gleeson’s will become a thing of the past. vote blue in November !

The juxtaposition of Floyd versus Flynn and the resultant contrasts are mind-blowing.

If anything, four cops would be knocking themselves unconscious trying to open the door of Flynn’s limo.

$20.00 versus Treason …another juxtaposition.

Isn’t this a bit of a nothingburger until the Appeals court decides whether or not to force Sullivan to dismiss the case? Or is that ruling expected to favor the rule of law in this case and allow the judge to continue?

I feel for judge Sullivan. It’s perfectly fair to say that he was trying to handle this in the routine manner it seemed to be going and got blindsided. It’s also fair to point out that he let Flynn and his lawyers (past and present) get away with a lot of transparent delay tactics despite it being clear that his behavior was getting shady. He could have saved himself a lot of this misery by shutting it down and sentencing Flynn a long time ago. But clearly he’s got some principles. I tend to believe he was just trying to be accommodating out of routine, never believing he’d run into such a brazenly corrupt crowd. I don’t know how you let that happen when the president is tweeting about it, but here we are. And as it turns out, this may be better than any possible outcome by exposing easily understood corruption by the administration.

I expect that Barr, et. al will argue that this should be ignored and that Gleeson should be prosecuted for something because he was clearly biased against Flynn.

My, my; a Republican and former Rump flunky that is self serving. Who knew that was possible?

Flynn, like Roger Stone, brazenly flouts the rule of law and Republicans are fine with it. They seem to take perverse pleasure in corrupting justice. It’s as though they crapped on the floor of the courthouse and then demanded to be set free because the courtroom is full of shit.

So would Trump I bet.

Shorter Gleeson: “No backsies”, and whatever sentencing numbers you’ve got in mind, add a little more for the perjury.

For the lawyers in the gallery - I haven’t seen this question answered (sorry if I missed it)…

Can Trump pardon Flynn before he actually has a sentence handed down to him? Or must he wait as there isn’t anything concrete to pardon…?!

If spanky ‘Tinyman Square’ pardons, my hope is that after Jan 2021 the DOJ can go after Flynn for contempt charges…

This makes great copy for upcoming Dem campaign aid ad regarding The Anti-Mob Lawyer versus Corruption in the DOJ.

Yes, the obvious example being Nixon, who was not only pardoned pre-indictment let alone trial, was also given a blanket time period pardon for any all federal crimes committed in a rather broad date range.
