Ex-Bush Aides React To Impeachment Inquiry

Former President George W. Bush officials Andy Card and Colin Powell are now sounding off President Trump’s attempt to strong-arm foreign governments to manufacture dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden and lending credence into Democrats’ impeachment inquiry.

Would Andrew Card like to explain how one differentiates Trump’s “freak show” comments from those that are serious??

“I want people to calm down…Don’t call a molehill a mountain."

Says a guy who hyped America into the Iraq War over “camelpox”, “yellowcake”, and “aluminum tubes”.

The impeachment process should begin with, “He, the asshole”.

Andy Card thinks an impeachment inquiry is warranted. That’s actually pretty big because it means he’s considering throwing Trump under the bus. He’s not ready to do it yet, but it’s an option. For him to say this publicly is a sign that the Republican Party is really starting to crack on this. It won’t be long now. A few more jaw dropping revelations and I think most Republicans will start to turn on Trump publicly.

While investigating the ultra-hyperbolic trump, Congress needs to go easy on the hyperpole.

As the bull rider settles on the big Brahma, tightens his grip on the rig and is about to nod for the gate to open, another cowboy leans in and says: “Now, go easy on this bull.”

“Don’t make it about politics,” said Card, a former Bush administration official.

Card said. “I want people to calm down, take a look at it. Don’t call a molehill a mountain. They tend to do that. There’s hyperbole on both sides.”

Yo dude, when has Trump not been hyperbolic? The man is walking, semi-literate hyperbolic example.

“I also don’t want him to be distracted by others who are trying to undermine him,” Card said. “And I do want the impeach process, if it’s going to go forward, to be done deliberately — without hyperbole, without exaggeration — and see where it leads based on the facts. Don’t make it about politics.”

Holding up military aid to a country that has a hot war going on just to make them give you dirt on your political opponent is POLITICAL you jackass.

Card is trying to be a weather vane in mixed winds. One toe in, one toe out.

"The former Bush official didn’t outright endorse the impeachment inquiry but he tore into the GOP by arguing that its leaders “are holding back because they’re terrified of what will happen to any one of them if they speak out.”

Powell, once again being in a position where his stance can be meaningful goes limp in the launch. Up next, Powell goes to the UN with news of Biden’s complicity as evidenced by a napkin sketch provided by Rudy that Powell is waving in front of the cameras. It came stuffed in a small sample vial which made it straight up real.

Because he is Republican and he cares about Republican priorities as if there isnt any politics in his statement.

Card and Powell seem to be the surrogates for the old Republican establishment very carefully and hesitantly dipping a toe in the Abandon Trump River … before opening the dam to let things flow or heading for the safety of the shore to disappear again.

What I want from Colin Powell is not moral guidance, but to show me those mobile chem labs that Saddam Hussein had, more than 200K people died, those trucks have to be somewhere…

so the impeachment probe needs to be deliberate, yet the Trump’s words are not deliberate or intentional?

Reading and watching, one thing the Media may want to stress is not only what this idiot’s decisions are doing to our relationships around the world, he is costing or going to cost lives. This man, Mitch and all the Republicans are going to have blood on their hands. Never let that dribble into wonky discussions.

And for what?

He got rolled?
