I think what we are seeing is the end of the Democratic duck and cover reaction to Ronald Reagan and the Republican ascendancy. For decades Democrats ran from their traditional positions. The best Democratic President in that period, Barack Obama, couldn’t get a full throated health care plan passed and implimented. The Democrats just wouldn’t be loud and proud. Some say this is the beginning of the Democratic version of the Tea Party and in a way it is, but I think of it as being a return to the Democratic party of Harry Truman and LBJ. Way to go Michigan.

Yes, but he won in the face of $32 million from AIPAC and $30 million more from the Chuck Schumer establishment. This wasn’t an overlooked race. The people of Michigan just sent a message.

67 year old El-Sayed voter here. I am so tired of the Schumer style of strongly worded letters and another hearing when the witnesses will just be allowed to lie or not answer the question. I will vote for the fighter every time from here on out. Stevens was never that, even though I supported her in the past I couldn’t this time around. She made an ad with Susan Collins for heavens sake. I received 8 mailings from the AIPAC political action people in 5 days last week. They were going to abandon her in the general election and support Rogers. Democrats need to get their poop in a group and give all out support for him. Make Rogers’ own every bit of the Trump agenda.

If you can get out and about and pass this message to your fellow voters, it may turn the election in a way the country needs right now.
We may not be able to throw AIPAC on a list of illegal donors, but we can sure make accepting their money toxic.
