Eastman Says Feds Seized His Phone Last Week

I don’t want to just handwave this but, depending on where they live, some may have switched to vote in the GOP primaries, where q-nuts are working to become GOP nominees for various election offices. And some may be simply switching back (GOP’s been losing declared voters for years), having registered as indies but finding themselves voting for the GOP much of the time. It only affects voters themselves during primaries, so it’s not necessarily a sign of allegiance to the GOP

You know what pisses me off?

These relics might serve time but it’ll only be a few years if they’re lucky and I wish they were 20 because fuck them.

Oh, really?

Good point. I did actually hear that was being done in some places. I think they might be doing that in Wyoming for Liz Cheney. Not sure it will make a difference for her.

Yeah, I’m not saying it’s nothing, just that it’s very hard to tell if it’s meaningful. In Texas, Rs were voting for Bernie in the 2020 primaries to “mess with Texas dems”. And some people who are registered in one party vote essentially straight tickets for the other every election.

48% saying they are more likely to vote for a Democratic candidate in the fall and 41% more likely to vote for a Republican. In April, Republicans led on that question in the poll 47% to 44%,

All you handwringers can fuck off.

The differing signatures add to mounting circumstantial evidence of shady political tricks in South Florida, suggesting that unidentified canvassers during the weeks around Thanksgiving may have changed the party affiliation without permission of mostly elderly, Hispanic voters living in public housing in the area to make them Republicans

Ugh. Florida

It’s good news but it makes me crazy when I read that we have to win significantly more to actually win. So it’s basically the Electoral College even when it’s not.

I’ve noticed over the past decade or more that if the polls show a Democrat ahead by 10 points, if they go on to win on election day it’s only by half that or less. The polls are always overly generous to Democrats. By contrast, Republicans that are a few points behind very often win. I’m not a statistician but I don’t understand what accounts for this phenomena, so yes, you are right Democrats have to work much harder to drag them selves over the finish line.
