John Eastman asked a federal judge on Thursday to please take back his finding that the Trump lawyer likely misled a federal judge during the effort to overturn the 2020 election.

You can ask a court for reconsideration, and sometimes it works, but you better have something really important that was obviously overlooked. Judges don’t like changing their minds. .

What’s all this “Dr.” Eastman business? He has a Juris Doctor, but that’s basically their law degree, a J.D. I’ve never heard of an attorney calling himself or herself “Dr.” based on having a J.D.

Eastman knew that what he was doing was wrong. He was banking on his plan working so he would never be prosecuted. In the alternative he really thought Trump would give him a pardon walkng out the door.
