Donald Trump Personally Thanks John Roberts For Keeping Him Out Of Jail: 'I Won't Forget It'

My position with Trump 2.0 is don’t assume he’ll go forward with all the horribles he promised during the election, but don’t be remotely surprised at anything he does, on a scale of ‘not’ to ‘horrible’ to ‘holocaust’. I’ll believe the tariffs when that particular opera is over, but all we know now is that we’re in Act II out of ??

Trump will have 7 or 8 justices in his hip pocket before his term ends. At that point SCOTUS can bequeath the office of the President monarch powers, and Congress will be just be someplace you aspire to reach to set up personal grifts.
I also think the 10th Amendment gets kicked to the curb. Once Trump starts agitating to free cronies in jail on State charges, some sort of work around will be created that allows him to pardon State crimes.

And, coming as it does from Canada, that’s the polite version of the good professor’s thoughts.

How long did the bumbler in chief speak?

Nonsense. That will burnish Justice John’s rep as a hero of the maga movement. Every well-funded door will be open to him. Make way for $50M speaking engagements. We must never forget… these people have no sense of shame.

He’ll have to top Thomas and get some billionaire to “sell” him a personal Lear jet, and finance it for him. A loan which will quietly be forgiven.

Exactly. It’s almost always, “What will Trump do next?” To become obsessed with why he does things, is not helpful and will just drive you crazy.

Why not sell the Capitol bldg. Be a great site for a mall. House chamber a furniture store, Senate chamber a hardware store the Rotunda space to be an upscale eatery.

Don’t we all. I’d settle for a lightning bolt to the Oval Office.

OMFG. He has to try to outdo everything for the worse…or is it for the worst? Usually I look these things up.
