As long as there is a Speaker McCarthy, there will likely NEVER be enough progress… and this is exactly what the rabid house members want.
Donald Trump filed a notice that he plans to appeal the $5 million federal jury verdict against him to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
For those unversed in these things, this is a whoopetifuckitydo, signifying nothing more than a minor procedural move to keep options open. The level of commitment here is paying a trivial filing fee. That’s it.

The Daily Beast is reporting that Trump and his toadies are happy with the results from the CNN town hall and Trump wants to have another one. Now, is anyone surprised about this development?

We should be so lucky, but Trump is loving every minute of this and unfortunately for us we’re going to be stuck with him for a long time. This cretin is one of those human beings where his ugliness and nastiness helps or allows him to live for a long time.
So where is Santos getting money to pay his lawyers, post bail, and make restitution for his past fraudulent checks?
Since Trump is a terrible person it would make sense that he is a terrible criminal defendant.
Re: the very last article on holding age restrictions on sales of firearms unconstitutional: Great. Lets have no restrictions at all. In fact, why don’t we start handing out guns to toddlers?

I can’t say anything but good things about Schiff, and he certainly has put in his time.
I saw Katie Porter on Bill Maher a few weeks back and Piers Morgan was on and barely let her get a word in edgewise…and then turned to her after a long spiel and asked her a question like HE was the interviewer. She wasn’t terribly cogent and didn’t get to stake out any points on her own…Morgan kept wrenching the conversation where he wanted, milking the audience for applause and then would turn to her and ask her a pointed (somewhat accusatory) question that had her stammering a bit. It wasn’t fair, and it wasn’t Maher’s fault…nor was he piling on or anything like that. Just Piers Morgan sucking up all the oxygen.
I know that is a small sample size.
If CA is a breeze for whichever Dem candidate runs…and they otherwise don’t have a scandal or health scare…I think Porter hasn’t paid the dues like Schiff has and he has a longer and more accomplished career at this point. Who are the other possibles running?
All 3 leading candidates are fine and are overqualified.
