A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things. This is TPM’s Morning Memo.

Alcohol passes through the placenta into a fetus if the mother consumes it. It’s illegal for a minor to consume alcohol, and for the parent to provide it or otherwise deliver it into a minor’s body. Going forward shouldn’t it be illegal for a pregnant woman to consume any alcohol at all, should all these “a fetus is a person from the moment of conception” bills pass?

Over the counter birth control?

Can’t wait to hear the screeching from certain deplorables.

You screwed with the Jan 6 committee, now we’re going to screw with you. That’s fair isn’t it?

Something tells me you may be in a little bit of trouble, you air-headed creep.

a bill last week banning people from taking videos of cops within eight feet of the officers

Uh, what happens when said ossifer takes one step towards the person taking the video? Oh wait, I know, “stop resisting arrest!”

[Trump] would drop his “executive privilege” claim if the committee agreed to certain conditions.

Tell us, Donald, what Vladimir advised.

Heck with the politicians, just wait for the screaming and moaning from doctors and healthcare systems which have made their bread-and-butter for eons from convincing/insisting that women have to see them regularly for all sorts of (often expensive) testing and checkups just to make sure they’re okay.

God forbid she take The Pill without some good doctor ensuring that all the plumbing is working right, after all.

FDA To Consider Over-The-Counter Birth Control Pills

Sounds like the kind of action that this Supreme Court would determine is of too great a magnitude to be decided by a bureaucratic “agency” and must explicitly be decided by an act of congress.

Fuck that, a 6-3 vote will solve that problem.

Yep, and this will also disallow recording a traffic stop from inside the car, when the officer approaches the driver’s side window. So I guess the next move is to install a GoPro or something on the dash and just leave it on. Gee officer, I didn’t know it was on. No, I don’t know how to turn it off. What am I being stopped for, again?

Somewhere out there on the interwebs is the backstory to this quote, which sums up quite nicely what I think about Steve Bannon’s “offer” to testilie: Get bent, traitor.

The spectacle of CNN, NYT and WAPO still getting conned by Bannon/Trump even now makes me wonder what freedom of the press means in those mighty pressrooms.
