With TPM’s annoying habit of backfeeding ancient articles, I had to actually click on this one to determine that it is current and not some old story from ~2003. Regardless, I’m sure Bolton is happy to have his name in the news again.

Pro Tip: When soliciting a person to commit murder on your behalf, and that person says they know a guy who can help, the second guy is reporting everything you say to law enforcement.

Don’t ask me how I know.

It would be appreciated if Bolton would tell the truth (for a change) as a thank you for DOJ saving his life. The POS refused to testify, yet could tell secrets to sell a book. Not holding my breath.

Perhaps we should just require him to meet with Jon Stewart again?

Trump managed to do many incredible things…one of which was to (by contrast) make Bolton a more “appealing” person.

I guess he’s no longer a real Republican after thanking the DOJ, Secret Service and FBI .

I was coming here to say, “This is DoJ’s way of making up for the FBI’s adventures at Mar-a-Lago.”

So, performative for now.

Poursafi remains at large abroad,

Bolton’s the type of guy who likes to hang with “the birds of prey”, regardless of their political affiliation. If he had been born a couple of decades earlier, he might have been a content hanger-on in the Johnson Administration.

I think he’s been doing that since his DC stint in the 80s.

I just wish they would chop off Bolton’s dreadful mustache and his right hand that is always adjusting his glasses to endeavor to boost his intellectual bona fides. Both are insufferable, damn it!!!

I hate thinking in “enemy of my enemy” terms but that’s just how dangerous and loathsome Bolton is and was. Never lose sight of the fact that destabilizing the Middle East is to the Wingnut hawks always the goal.

Can’t we give the Iranian dude the Presidential Medal of Freedom instead? (/s)

“I’m relevant again!” he shouted, leaping into the air and clicking his heels together. He then attempted to high-five a reporter but the reported had already left.

This indicates that the Iranians really don’t know what they are doing. Any US move against Iran in which Bolton plays a leading role would be sure to be incompetent in the extreme, thus guaranteeing the regime’s survival.

Even for Bolton to go around Washington advocating action against Iran instantly discredits the policy.

I don’t like Bolton, or his philosophy on world affairs. He was terrible at this job, and failed the United States when he could have stood with us against Trumpism during the impeachment. He’s a horrible person. But, nevertheless, Iran is wrong to target him. Trump is the guy that gave the order. Maybe that mustache confused them.
