I’m not sure I see the moral distinction between assassinating a horrible person who wants to bomb your country and that horrible person allowed (or encouraged) to start a war where thousands die.
To the best of my knowledge, that’s Bolton’s entire schtick. Wars against brown people. I, for one, am tired of it.

No one ever said he wasn’t a war criminal per se… or, okay, maybe he said he wasn’t once or twice. But it’s difficult to follow exactly how he came to that conclusion.
Also, I think he was involved in Central America in the 80s… not a nice fellow.
