It is time to push for regime change and democracy at this terrorist state.
These cowards pretending to be flying blind, legally speaking:
If the state is “unable” to defend a law passed by the legislature and signed by the governor, then, um, maybe it shouldn’t defend the law, and maybe the State of Georgia should move to repeal it in its next session.
But that’s just me.
Blunt and to the point.
And a Social Democrat.
“Unfortunately, as the public discourse has become increasingly acrimonious, common ground has become a no man’s land between the clashing forces of the culture wars,” according to a copy of the planned editorial.
“At the same time, with misinformation and disinformation on the rise, readers are often confused, especially online, about the differences between news stories, opinion pieces and editorials.”
What wonderful both-sidesing cowardice. The discourse and mis/disinformation is coming from Republicans. And isn’t it the media’s job to resolve that confusion? God forbid.
“We are wary of endorsing GOP candidates as the party goes more batshit, but we couldn’t possibly support Democrats all the time; it’s bad for the horse race!” Just say it.
So, maybe Markie needs the possibility of another prosecution on his plate.
Also, it would appear to indicate that Crossfire Hurricane docs are not a significant part of what Donnie was keeping at MAL. Beyond killing another of Donnie’s excuses for holding onto all those pages, it does leave the question of just what he wanted to control with those docs open to question.
Not, of course, that there weren’t other scandals which could be illuminated by intel he could keep out of the public eye – there are 30 odd pages of call notes (with, I believe, the Presidential Seal) in the docs picked up by the FBI. 1/6 Call logs?
OT: The University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma renew their rivalry in Dallas tomorrow. Here, you see Texas Highway Department-budgeted dollars put to good use on southbound I-35.
I am not a graphic designer, but I work with them all the time. I think that is a fantastic ad for hiring graphic designers.
Yes… and even more!
Oh … but hatred is such a strong word. I like to think of my resistance to his candidacy as either incompetentism or insanitism.
Reminds me of what Hannity did when AOC was running her first campaign for Congress; she re-tweeted the list and replied something to the effect of, “Yep, that’s pretty much it.”
Truer words …

Well this Blunt is true red, white, and blue bullshitter.
Just get gone Roy.
I guess KSM should be thanked for clarifying just who’s the target of his production cut.
The University of Florida pays it President in excess of 1.1 million dollars in salary, perks and benefits. Sasse will realize a nearly six fold increase in pay should he take the job.
Totally. They probably figured that this midterm would go about the same as they usually do and they’d be able to spend enough money to get him over the finish line. Then he’d be McConnell’s problem and yet a reliable vote for whatever they told him to support.
I haven’t seen any indication that they went after Dominion because of the company’s politics. Maybe I missed it, but it seems they went after an apolitical organization simply because they provided the voting machines. In some ways that’s even worse. A company that wears their politics on their sleeve can expect some blowback from the opposition. They can prepare themselves for fallout. They destroyed Dominion and Smartmatic for no other reason than because ithey happened to be suppliers. There’s no way for a company to protect themselves from that.
He had a flood of invitations?
A comment at Heather Cox Richardon’s latest blog post provided a Twitter evaluation of Walker and the way he’s being used by republicans by Professor Brittney Cooper. She has plenty of agreement from people who are paying attention. I hope Georgians take it to heart and vote accordingly. Stop pretending they like you!
When I see the walking stereotype of Black male mediocrity that is Herschel Walker, I am reminded that a significant swath of white folks need this to be who Black people are, who Black men are. Violent, idiotic, brute, immoral, deadbeats.
The GOP’s support for Herschel Walker’s candidacy is designed as a continual insult and assault on all who strive to be Black and excellent, or hell, just Black and decent.
The GOP had spent decades locking up dudes like Herschel, and propagating a narrative that this is who brothers are. (It is who Herschel is. But he isn’t who all Black men are.) Now they want to give him a senate seat.
This dude is a walking talking Sambo on one hand, and Bigger Thomas on the other. Herschel Walker is the walking embodiment of their white supremacist projections of Black masculinity and I think voters in GA should do everything legal to make sure he doesn’t win.
And I’m pointing this out 1.) because as a Black person I am enraged at their elevation of that abusing MF. And 2.) because for the brothers in Georgia falling for the GOP okey-dokey, it’s not enough to only vote Warnock. You gotta vote Abrams too. The whole GOP hates you.
I’m pretty sure they did murder Dominion. It’s hard to imagine any jurisdiction ordering new Dominion machines, knowing the flying monkeys they’ll have to face. And rebranding to a different name wouldn’t work, either. The company’s business was killed.
I’m guessing that therefore they want to get full value of company to pay back their owners. Plus enough over to cover lawyers’ fees and serve as a penalty.
And then she danced.
