I cannot help but think that this constitutional crisis is a natural consequence of the failure to take the January 6 Coup and armed attack on the Capitol to assassinate the VIce President and Speaker seriously and decisively enough.
We treated the whole thing as if we found some out-of-town tourists jaywalking.

Do not give Susan Collins credit for sometimes having a backbone. She will occasionally look like she has a spine (as with Hegseth), but only when her vote matters not. She will never cast the decisive vote against the will of her party. Never.

Does anyone think this ends well? A lite version of it in 2016 flopped. Musk may be the “richest man in the world” but does he show much expertise in his current MAGA role? Shutting down agencies that have proved themselves for 50 years or more? He’s a reckless asshole. If you like call him the richest reckless asshole in the world. Folks are starting to see and get buyers remorse. The Dearborn Muslims for example. Give it another 90 days.

Who do you blame for that? trump the perp sure but what about a prosecutor of such a cowardly and meek nature he allowed the perp to write the script on the aftermath? Merrick Garland was the biggest mistake made by Biden and it probably cost him a second term.

Not fair? He refused to interview Donal Jr about his meeting with a Russian agent ( a critical piece of evidence in the Russia interference investigation ) because he “felt” it would anger Trump. He slow walked ALL of the DOJ’s cases against Trump allowing Trump to run out the clock. He has no successes against Trump. Do you think Ken Starr would have handled matters like that? How about Pam Bondi when she gets a shot? Garland was a horrible AG and had he what it takes this would be a differnt America. I’d love to bash that piñata all day long.
