We are all noticing that the incidence of this kind of language and belief appears to be increasing. 50 years after the passage of the civil rights act, and why do we think this is happening? Is it just because white people are becoming more racist? Is it because of Obama? Or is it more than this? There is no doubt that white men have been responsible for much of the progress that has led to the most advanced countries…there is also no doubt that the progress came with a lot of negatives. But, can we consider if overall, the contributions of white men have been, on balance, positive? Do we really want to give up all of the things that white culture has created?
For awhile the paint dried a little faster…

And that they feel so totally comfortable expressing these odious opinions publicly.

It should also be noted that, to the best of my knowledge, and I do tend to watch Washington Journal every day, they never even offered a segment of Ta’Nehisi Coates’s article on reparations. Perhaps they feared watching heads explode on live TV.

At least guys like this will be dead soon. His grand daughter will marry a black man and he will have mixed race progeny. Problem solved.

Ubiquitous cultural expressions, from speech, to the high five, the fist bump, popular expressions that are now world wide came from black culture.

If anyone has ever watched Washington Journal, you know that the majority of the callers are right wingers, including the ones that call themselves Independents. The next thing you noticed is that the hate they spout is tolerated by the hosts; they even read the hate tweets.
Blue states must cease subsidizing red states, immediately. Let the racist Republican rank-and-file fend for themselves.

Apparently neither of these callers has read the “Case for Reparations” by Ta-Nehisi Coates in the Atlantic. The subtitle is “Two hundred fifty years of slavery. Ninety years of Jim Crow. Sixty years of separate but equal. Thirty-five years of racist housing policy. Until we reckon with our compounding moral debts, America will never be whole.”

Pretty soon, before you know it, there will be no white privilege. And, ironically, the biggest whiners are those who don’t know they have it.
Anyone who listens to these call in programs really can’t expect to hear enlightened thoughts or ideas. The people who call in don’t work all day and don’t sound like they spend the day attending classes or reading either. My favorites are the callers who call on the opposite party’s line. On the Democratic line, Sam says he’ll never vote Democratic again although he’s been a Democrat all his life. Yeah, right, to quote Bart Simpson.
The elephant in the room that nobody dares to talk about
is – blatant, open, and hostile discrimination against whites.
Unfortunately, the populace in the U.S. have been so socially engineered that they
do not give it a moment of consideration.
For years we have been inundated with programs that pepper us with white guilt and
blame is constantly being attributed to the evil white man.
Currently, on the University level, they are teaching the evils of “white privilege” and
requesting that white students wear a white bracelet and hold themselves accountable to a
person of color.
Eric Holder, on numerous occasions, made the suggestion that subtle racism is
rampant in America and we are a nation of cowards for not addressing it.
He is right, whites are developing an attitude of subtle racism — why wouldn’t they?
When affirmative action was put into law “equal rights” were abolished in the U.S.
The hundreds of privileged entitlement programs that were spawned from it furthered to
widen the inequality of whites.
No one thinks in those terms as it violates political correct mandates.
These programs have long outlived their original intent.
They need to be discontinued.
We are a multicultural nation and we need to move forward as a cohesive populace with
a commonality of purpose to build a nation that represents the best interest of all of its’
citizens.
I place the full blame of the increase of racism in the U.S. on the race baiters who profit from it
— both private individuals and politicians.
Let us all re-think about racial prejudice and how and where it originates and strive to pull together
as human beings and move America forward as a multicultural society that will set an example
for the Global community.
