I’d rather have that image in my mind rather than a TX a**hole cooking bacon on the muzzle of a gun. It is beyond me why purported ‘men of God’ that Cruz and Huckabee claim to be would advocate for and glorify instruments of death and destruction- and have the cajones to tell us that God inspired their treachery.

The linked story does not (ugh, literally) pass the smell test. If this was attempted in reality, no one would use it after the first… evidence… showed up. And anyhow, 911 would be flooded with calls about a horrifying puddle developing. And the more or less legitimate newspapers would be all over the story.

Desperate people do desperate things.
The money men don’t get offended by these kind of things, if they believe Cruz has a chance of winning the general election they will fund him. In the meantime for the primary, he has enough money from his sugar daddies in Texas and in the oil industry, plus plenty of evangelical sheep to fleece.
