Quite honestly, I think the terror attack in Paris is probably the best thing that ever happened to the GOP. Now they can go on scaring Americans silly and win elections. Fear is the only thing that the GOP sells, and boy do they sell it well.

Vitter tries throwing his wife under the bus again while she just accepts being run over again and again like some poor ragamuffin. They deserve each other, though the residents of LA deserve far better than this pair of lying scum.
Catholic Charities would not have made the actual refugee policy, but in my experience, having once worked for a Catholic Social Service agency that in part did refugee work on behalf of Catholic Charities, they would have been the ones to help guide the Syrian refugee for the proper transfer and relocation, and known about it in advance since they helped sponsor the person into the country. There are legal requirements made of Catholic Charities’ in their responsibility to provide services and help within the first 90 days after arrival in order to help refugees adjust. Those would have been conducted on behalf of the sponsoring church or religious organization in this case even if the transfer occurred right away. They would have been the ones to help facilitate that in my estimation and been fully aware of it.
Since Vitter’s wife was their general counsel, she too would have known about it if she was serious about doing her fucking job, and knowing the facts before letting her husband openly lie to the public. These two are conniving and equal opportunity exploiters. Wendy Vitter…Still standing by her man in diapers while she comes off looking like just as big a fool as her husband.

Of course Vitter doesn’t know and doesn’t want to know that except for one, the Paris attackers were European nationals (French and Belgian) who can come to the USA without even a visa. Real Syrian refugees take 18-24 months to get here after extensive vetting. They are most women, children, and elderly. Just why Republicans are so un-American is a puzzle to me.
