When will the first Syrian refugee–or someone that “looks” like a Syrian refugee–be shot by an American drunk on paranoia and fear spread by the right wing officials and news outlets?

Unfortunately, he’ll either become Louisiana’s Governor, or he’ll remain a U.S. Senator for at least another year. He won re-election handedly five years ago, though perhaps this campaign has been punishing enough that he can be pushed out of the Senate as well…

And Vitter will probably end up winning just like the Tea Party guy in Kentucky, because Confederacy!

Vitter went to Harvard and is a Rhodes Scholar??? Was that “degree” and post grad “scholarship” given to him when you could get a version of them off the back cover of a matchbook?? Just sayin’

Vitter repeated incorrect information about the “missing” refugee
this week even though his wife, Wendy, serves as the general counsel for
the Archdiocese of New Orleans, which oversees Catholic Charities.
Wendy Vitter distanced herself from the refugee resettlement program while stumping for her husband on Thursday.

“Catholic Charities obviously is a catholic mission service that
serves ministry to people in need but not even Catholic Charities, they
don’t make the policy,” she said at an event in Lake Charles, Louisiana,
as quoted by local TV station KLPC. “They are administering a policy of
the Obama administration. It’s President Barack Obama’s policy. It is
not Catholic Charities policy and I can guarantee it’s not Wendy
Vitter’s policy.”

I just received two loathsome, lying robocalls from the Vitter campaign, one with Wendy Vitter’s voice. Despicable.

I hope he loses tomorrow, and that he is so mortally wounded politically (but too obtuse to realize it) and tries to retain his Senate seat next year and gets pounded into the ground by a Democratic running for the seat.
