Its an interesting conundrum that is taking place. A Texas state rep said in a letter yesterday that Texas cannot accept Syrian refugees because its too easy to get guns. Erickson said today that he won’t be attending the new Star Wars movie because there are no metal detectors at the theaters. This is the same Erickson that has been screaming for years that we need to carry guns everywhere…and that if there had been more people with guns in the theater in Colorado, that shooter would have been stopped.

I fully expect the cognitive dissonance that is happening to result in actual aneurysms very soon.

One can hope.

Once again, and I know it’s a distinction without a difference to some people, but the Paris terrorists were from Paris and Belgium and other parts of Europe. They weren’t Syrian or Middle Eastern. So before we ban Syrians, let’s find out who the bad guys were. Because they weren’t Syrian. Did I mention that they were European? Not from Syria.
