Discussion for article #242322
Since I find it so hard to believe that voters in Louisiana have finally come to their senses, thereâs only one explanation for this - skewed polls!
Another great menu item for the TeaPub banquetâŚ
Git 'er done, Edwards! We need to elect more Democrats everywhere to restore sanity to our national dialog, and a Southern governorship is a good place to start.
I think 50 minus 42 is 8, but Iâm not a journalist.
So, 50/50 shot that there will be massive irregularities that somehow make Vitter the winner?
Yeah, thatâs why you actually bothered to do the math. A âjournalistâ doesnât put in that much effort.
Dude better generate some more racist demagoguery ads, stat!
Canât fool all of the people all of the time, diaper man.
OK, so Vitter by 5 in the run-off then. <bows head dejectedly>
Yes, with a margin of error of Republicans-are-dirty-fixers, AP is calling this race for Vitter.
Can you imagine that everrtme you looked at your governor you imagined prostitutes putting a diaper on him after a good spanking? This is the best the GOP has to offer in the South? How did the rest of the Senators do it all these years?
Clearly David just needs to pull his diaper up and get out there and do some campaigning. I tell ya, that man is a winner.
I wonât even begin to get my hopes up, not before I see half a dozen polls showing even remotely similar results. That said, LA is ripe for the picking if minorities, young people, and women would just freakinâ vote. Itâs only about 60% white and is nearly 33% black. A Blue Dog Democrat can win there, especially against a woefully flawed candidate like Vitter.
Heâs always got his fallback position in the Senate when he loses though, so itâs pretty much a âfree playâ as they would say in the NFL.
If he blows this shot at governor heâll just keep on keepinâ on.
Gee, I guess no one âLuvsâ him anymore. Maybe they think he was just too âPamperedâ while he was a Senator. Oh, well. His faithful wife can always keep up his spirits with some kisses and âHuggiesâ.
Tengo mis dedos cruzados
Perhaps after 8 years of Jindal totally effing up the state perhaps even the very red state of LA is open to trying something else.
I canât recall, is Vitter vacating his Senate seat or is he looking to stay in the Senate if he loses?
Huh?
This is the runoff.
