Now I’d say that answer is word salad from someone who is clueless.
He’ll be so good at the military? WTF is that?

for all his posturing & preening & posing, it is astounding how little Drumpf has actually said, of any consequence (that wasn’t an insult), pertaining to ANY issue. “Good at the military?” How? Where? Was Geo W ‘good’ at the military? Apparently so, prior to 2003. After? Not so hot. Talk about a pig in a poke & sooooo many are soooo willing to trust this asshat!

I’m thinking if some dork wants to be POTUS they should answer the got’cha questions because it’s damned sure they come up in private.

Not me…and it’s that thought that drives most of my vote. Asshattery is not a feature I want in my President.

The GOP candidates rush to stupid like a moth to flame. It 's a shame to a lot of folks but a feature for them. And it shows in spades the thoughtlessness of the rubes that support them

To be fair, with Donald’s head spinning, media heads spinning and our heads spinning we’re only really hearing about every fourth word pouring out of Donald’s bridgework-filled mouth before we even factor in the sound obliterating meaty thwacks from Donald’s personal Gestapo beating Latino demonstrators…

I read an article recently that suggested people are telling pollsters it’s no big if a candidate doesn’t know jack about this or that, they’ll figure it out when they get in office. Which would be a hell of a lot more reassuring if we hadn’t had a president who was clueless about a certain country’s internal power struggles and place in the regional balance of power and went in happily, decapitated the society, and left the region in chaos that may last for a generation or longer. Fallows said Bush created that disaster by being ignorant, incurious, and “decisive,” if by that we mean impulsive and bullheaded. I thought we’d decided that wasn’t the best kind of person to be President. But maybe we just decided we don’t want anybody named Bush any more? I really don’t know these days.

Since Palin a “gotcha question” has nothing to do with the questioner’s intent. A gotcha question is one that reveals your ignorance, no matter why it’s asked or how much we might wish our potential leaders to know the answer.

As with his answer about his immigration policy, this is where “management” would do its magic in a Trump administration.

There’s a section of the American public that thinks that decisiveness is leadership. EVEN IF that decisiveness is incomprehensibly stupid and uninformed; doesn’t mater to those people. These are the same cretins that attack Pres. Obama for “leading from behind.”

Thing is, 3 of the GOP candidates have zero experience at governing. Trumps answer reveals desperation, not confidence. And that should be unsettling. He’s desperate and he’s not even faced with real crisis yet. Not good.

Is magic gonna be a GOP feature? How wonderful (sigh).

Yes. Striking, isn’t it, that the very same members of the Base who criticized Obama for allegedly having no experience now have, as their top two candidates, no legislative or even traditionally “political” experience at all. Unless “the adulation of minions” counts as “political experience.”
