What will be more hilarious is when Fox gloms on to another candidate and tries and fails to elevate that candidate above Trump.

I disagree. No republican candidate can survive without Fox. Its the only media channel that the base watches, and if they cut off your camera time or even worse go negative spin on you for a few weeks, the candidate is toast. Even Trump.

Because if Fox turns on Trump, CNN will follow suit, as will the other news organizations. But as long as Fox is mesmerized by the ratings numbers, the others don’t dare to go there for fear of the backlash.

Right now, this is still driving ratings, so I am a little skeptical of it all. Though I do think it probably signifies that Kelly and Fox have reached an agreement on her upcoming contract renewal. If Fox is however, ready to play hardball with Trump…he will be the one ultimately paying the price.

Sure, he can go to twitter and cry about being treated unfairly. But most of his base doesn’t use twitter. No Fox coverage, and the conservative base turns its attention to the new shiny ball bouncing on the Fox screen. Its sort of like the tree falling in the forest with no one around? Does the tweet make a noise when it hits the ground?

One good thing about Trump dominating the news. People might not notice that the world markets are in the middle of an epic crash, and there is still nothing there to replace the fed jumping in and buying toxic crap. Go Donald! We might make it through this yet! He might be just the kind of distraction America needs to be great again!

He’s forcing Kelly, if she values her media career, to throw FOX under the bus and admit she was given ‘hit’ questions strictly for Trump.
