I so very much want to believe that Trump really is a Democratic plant, diabolically taking down both the GOP and Fox at the same time. Alas, I don’t think the Donald is bright enough to pull off such an incredible scheme. I just hope he can keep this up. Sometimes reality is better than fantasy.

Trump can create his own soapbox portal overnight.
Within days it could have a newsy feel.

At this point, I have to question the assumption that he is doing anything based on a strategy. I am starting to believe that this rant against Kelly was just a spur of the moment anger flare up that he had to let out. Like a lot of his crap is.

He cannot and will not let this go, because there’s no room in his worldview for the idea that a WOMAN might have gotten the better of him. It will be interesting to see what vile crap he starts spewing at Hillary, and how that goes over with female voters.

I doubt it. A feud with Fox will generate ratings for Fox. They get to talk tough about Trump and claim some sort of unbiased cred. All the while Trump will still be on all day everyday, but now with drama and a real arc of a story. Now the media gets to talk about this stupid feud with Kelly or the ongoing drama around his feud with FoxNews while ignoring that he has no other policy position other than putting Americans on trains and driving them out of the country and shutting the door behind them.
Seems like a win-win for both FoxNews and the candidate.

Overnight? Trump is going to start up a broadcast company, get it picked up by all the cable companies, get the advertising campaign to get people to watch it and the revenue stream to feed it, all in less than 4 months? And have a bigger audience than Fox has for his message?

Actually, not a bad idea. There are a crap ton of long-form ad channels on the cable dial. Right now they sell garbage like blenders and lint brushes. What would it take for a billionaire and his cronies to buy up all that ad space and put on their own programming? More than an infomercial on loop, but a living breathing propaganda blitz for 3-4 months leading up to the March primaries/caucuses?
Not likely, but within the realm of possibility.

I think it was wrong for Megyn Kelly to try and destroy the Donald Trump campaign during the debate. She should be held accountable for that. Brett Baier led the charge on behalf of Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes with his very first question and should be held accountable. The empty room in the kiddy table debate and the questions at the main event were clearly intended to bring down the Trump campaign and did not.
I think it would be best for Megyn Kelly to resign or take an extended leave of absence until the Presidential election is over.

No. by portal I mean a solitary webpage that allows the candidate to have the tweets displayed as opposed to being read on Fox.
The demographic obviously needs to have these, but most probably don’t use Twitter.
Launch…it focuses on the tweets as the center of the content.

Wasn’t there a site that did something like this a few years ago? I remember it aggregated left wing blog posts on the left and the right wing blog posts on the right and they sort of just stacked up next to each other so you could contrast what each side was talking about and found important at any given moment. Anyone remember that or was it just another of my many hallucinations?
