There doesn’t appear to be anything that I’ve seen in that particular law that gives Christie the right to override the 7 year waiting period. Only then can the firm seek to destroy records with the client’s permission. Anybody knows any different, then please correct me.

I always hoped that the Ham-Fisted Bully’s disgraceful treatment of Ms Kelly, who he and others in the inner circle rigged to take the fall, would come back to haunt him.

I am beginning to wonder if it was all a big lie about the law firm investigating the bridge gate scandal and just made up stuff for the report. Maybe they never interviewed any witnesses at all. You have to wonder.
The media hate the Clintons with the heat of a thousand suns. They will never, never give them a break. I’m not sure about the reporters, but certainly the editors and publishers. I think the reporters like the chance for easy-t-write scandal stories that don’t require any investigation.

Exactly right. This thing will continue leaking like a sieve, dis-empowering him as a governor until he leaves the governor’s mansion. And yes, any realistic presidential hopes evaporated the moment this hit the news wire. Paying for this white washing of it was the desperate attempt to ignore that fact.
And just like the bigger story, an attempt to get Dem mayors to support him in what was going to be a landslide victory anyway to help support a meme that he was bipartisan, the actual act of publishing this white wash is going to create even more problems.

But you have to admit that there’s substantially less of him in recent days. I can even begin to see the outlines of his face.
