Exactly. This flies in the face of many Texas public policies. You know, like global warming being real and all just because 97% of hot shot scientists and “experts” say so when I was fighting my way through hundreds of feet of snow just three months ago.
I say let’s leave the proven facts to idiots who can see the truth for themselves, not the learned fact finders who use elitist scientific methods just to disprove what the idiots can see plain as all getout… And let’s leave security and law enforcement to guys like us who know guns and all, not just the trained professionals who go to fancy schools and seminars to learn stuff.
Ironically, this is just the sort of militia the 2nd Amendment was protecting. The southern states wanted to be sure they would still have the right to create militias to put down slave rebellions and the north insisted they be “well organized.” It wasn’t so gun huggers could swagger around with their phallic symbols all gussied up to look like military weapons or stash their loaded Glock for their kids to shoot each other with.
Baby, if I was the county manager I’d be calling militia drills in the middle of the night, in 110 degree heat, in freezing rain, during work hours, on public holidays…weapons inventory and inspection for standardized ammo supplies, providing own standard uniform, just like they did back in the days when militias were the sole military presence. The “Golden Triangle” folks aren’t military even if they wear camouflage clothes and play with loaded AR-15’s. They are what I call “ammosexuals”.
I strongly doubt this “Golden Triangle” posse is “well regulated” as the 2nd amendment prescribes. And what limited image I have of them from the article it looks like they are not in the best of physical shape either. They appear to be weekend warriors at best.
Unfortunately, you’re right, but they’re well-regulated compared to the random gun-huggers shooting their own balls off when the drop their penis-substitute on their foot.
I think this just illustrates why the 2nd Amendment needs to be repealed.
