Of course. All fascists desire to gain political concessions though force. The question is, will we let them?

Live Action Role Playing (LARP) should not include the use of live ammunition.

Would you settle for Official “Military Farce” of one Texas County?

It’s more like doubled over with laughter.

Considering the epic flooding God’s visiting upon Texas, does the Golden Triangle Militia float?

Looking at the two guys in the middle of the picture, I would say the requirements for the physical fitness of militia members are rather loose.

Interesting how the first thing he mentions as a role for these uh, individuals, is in case of rioting.

Hey, maybe these guys—with all their guns and “training”—could shoot the tornados and floods away.

Hold on…I’ve been in the legal profession for 40 years - I know what a STATUTE is and this imbecile claims he cited FIVE STATUTES when he cited ZERO.

‘government code 431’ is NOT A STATUTE. I have no damn idea what this idiot is talking about but I do know he is WRONG.

The Jade Helm bullshit is pathetic. People keep talking about the Texas Guard as though it has any authority when in FACT, it has NONE and is a volunteer group to get free fishing and gun licenses - they are NOT MILITARY in any way, shape or form.

A militia, by definition, is a fighting force raised by a State. Minus the State it’s just a private army.

I noticed that one as well, but I think he’s confusing non-existing fear with the very real contempt and disgust people have with these make believe toy soldiers.

“Being that it has not been done, the Texas reserve militia has not been recognized and actually implemented and put together formally assembled. The big question is, why not?”

Because your insignia is an outline of Texas containing two AR-15s and a knife. That’s why. That’s some ISIS-level shit you’ve got going, and it freaks people out. That logo speaks volumes, buddy.

And there is a stigma associated with “militias”, as Smith notes. A well-deserved one. Your county does not need a bunch of stupid gun-nuts pretending to be a relevant community force when one isn’t necessary. Even if Smith has nothing but the best intentions in mind, I’m just not going to buy that any organization that calls itself a militia (in Texas of all places) doesn’t devolve rapidly into an Alex Jones cult faction or neo-Nazi safe haven. You can serve your community in a number of ways already. You’re not fooling anybody into believing this would be something other than a fantasy club for paranoid anti-government conspiracy nuts and race warriors. Sane people don’t join these types of things.

They want to be relevant and influential without the messiness and cost of getting elected. Plantation mentality. Of course it’s open to all citizens . . . But we all know that in East Texas. . . .that means white men.

Every 2 years Hawaii has Rim-pac exercises with many of the other nations surrounding the Pacific Ocean, yeah foreigners, and guess what, nobody is sh*tting in the pants over this event.
I guess that’s the difference between sanity in one state and insanity in another.

Like the flab of their “dunlaps”. Between the two, I’m thinking about 1/3 of a tonne of water, carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and minor and trace elements. They’d be much better off as the components of a large Yak.
