Nothing changes, does it?

Now that the verdict is in, there will undoubtedly be looting and shooting and all kinds of mayhem. It’s tragic to be sure, but I think there’s one thing that everyone will agree upon:

This is all Barack Obama’s fault.

No other explanation makes sense!

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

What I don’t understand is why riot in your own neighborhood? Wouldn’t it make sense to take it where the people you’re mad at live? Just saying. Of course I advocate non-violent protest.

America has many sins and blood on its hands, with regard to race. We have have a long way to go to live up to the ideals that we claim to stand for. We need to work together towards true racial equality.

That said, do I feel that there is overwhelming evidence that this particular officer acted with malice or inappropriately? I just don’t know. I’m giving him the same benefit of the doubt that I would want my father or brother…or myself…to receive.

No man should be a scapegoat for the sins of his country.
I know many others will say that they “know” what happened and that the officer must be treated as a murderer. I think that that faux certainty is really rooted at wanting to avenge an often unfair system…not the actual circumstances of this case.

That’s a given for anyone listening to Fox/GOP News.

Boy, this prosecutor sure sounds like a defense attorney to me. And by the way you folks out there that might be upset, be nice!

Ugh. I’m kind of disgusted.

I’m not surprised at all. And now we have the District Attorney turning Michael Brown into the most evil monster who ever walked the face of the Earth.

The whole world once again sees how the United States has turned justice into “ju$ti¢e” because we know that if Michael Brown was white, Wilson would have been indicted on a charge of Murder One.

Well, that tells me that the police can kill with impunity. Anyone, for any reason.
It’s a sad day in America.

I am white and very angry about the way this was handled and the continuing droning on but the prosecutor about the integrity of the process. Reminds me of the droning on by Egyptian officials about the integrity of the voting process thatgave morsi, now deposed, the presidential win. Back to the 1960s we go. They should ha v e just indicted this officer and let the trial play out. This short circuiting is what is causing the problems.

Michael Brown may or may have not stolen some cigars. He did not get a trial for theft. He was summarily executed.

Wilson shot 5 to 10 bullets into an unarmed man. He does not get a trial either.

I guess we don’t need trials in a fully racist society.

Huh. It’s almost like the Guv knew something in advance when he started parking a tank on every street corner and called the FBI for backup.

Sheer utter nonsense by another racist.

The scary thing is that police can get away with killing anyone, white, black, Asian, female, male whoever. When the police are not worried about going to jail for killing someone what is to stop them??

He never said that. He said that many of the witnesses, especially those who spoke to the media, didn’t see the actual shooting and they changed their accounts multiple times.

In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police, who commit crimes, and the district attorneys who don’t prosecute the offenders. This is their story.

“The duty of the grand jury is to separate fact from fiction,” he said. "

Is it not a fact that the kid was unarmed and was killed a distance from the cop car?? Is it not a fact that the police dept. tried to smear the kid in the days following?
Is it a fact now that cops can kill w/o repercussions?

I hope this is sarcasm.
