Discussion:

McCullough did not make clear what the distance between Wilson and Brown was when Wilson killed him. It sounded as if he mentioned 25 feet" but if so then what on earth was the imminent threat Brown posed to the officer?

during the Q&A he was less artful.

BS, according the actual evidence and not what the race agitators claimed, Big Mike was killed because he attacked a police officer and then instead of complying with the police officers directions he attempted to charge at him and was killed.

Those are the facts that the Grand Jury based their decision on. Of course you can’t accept that because it doesn’t conform to your opinion.

Did anybody expect any different from this biased prosecutor? Especially in MO? The fight must continue. This is the only way to shame these craven bastards to do what’s right. As hard as some fight for equality, the forces against equality are fighting twice as hard. So, the fight must continue. All lives have value even if they’re of the tanned persuasion.

Maybe because he had already attacked him once and was moving towards him again.

Having read other posts by CharlieE I’d say its snarky sarcasm. The right will indeed try to find a way to pin anything bad that happens in Ferguson on Obama.

Speaking of BS, your paraphrasing qualifies.

You new here?

Sure it does.
…But we’re not supposed to discuss what makes things change, when one side is free to kill the other with impunity while the other side isn’t even allowed to express its outrage vocally.

These are all facts. But those are not the inconvenient facts biased tribalists want to share.

So Wilson driving a key piece of evidence away from the scene before investigators arrived wasn’t a problem for the jury?

He was shot in “his own neighborhood.”
During the protests, people were gassed, shot with rubber bullets, arrested “in their own neighborhood.” Sometimes while standing in their own yards.

Can they be said to HAVE their own neighborhood?
I think the point has been deliberately made that they DON’T have a neighborhood of their own.

The message has been sent:
“You have NO PLACE here.”

Why use lethal force? Why not shoot him in the legs?

That is the point many are pretending to miss. The same hypocrites griping about NSA and some of their emails being read don’t care that cops have so much power they can directly harass you over nothing, & kill you for whatever reason and get away with it.
Call me cynical, but prolly it’s because they know NSA can’t really racially profile you over the internet like they can in person.

While this may not have been the best case to reasonably expect an indictment, the people’s movement for increased police accountability is legit and will hopefully continue.

We the People must stop deifying the police. They deserve to be held accountable for both mistakes and illegal conduct.

US police departments are fond of sending officers to Israel for training by Israeli Occupation Forces. Police officers in the US should not be trained by military personnel who have been subjugating over one million Palestinians - many in occupied territory - for decades. Also, people who have served as US military personnel should be discouraged from domestic police employment. The role of a soldier in combat and occupation of foreign countries is far too different from the rold of a domestic police officer.

I’m not at all surprised that the GJ bought into this bullshit. But I am disgusted.

It’s considered justifiable use of deadly force and considered self-defense, and therefore, perfectly legal for a law enforcement officer to murder an unarmed person 150 feet away from them.

This is sickening. Again.

Cops shouldn’t be allowed to have guns: no one should. I know that never happen.

I feel let down. I feel betrayed This isn’t what the “rule of law” should look like. I really do think that the police should be held to the very same standard the rest of us are. The cop , I think had in the back of his mind he could shoot this kid and get away with it. I want to see the evidence the jury based it’s decision on. But still the kid was unarmed. There’s no reason I can fathom that lethal force should’ve been used. Why didn’t the cop shoot the kid in the legs instead??This whole grand jury decision feels rigged.

He was 150 feet away and unarmed.

I totally agree with you. I said the same thing myself about four hours ago–that is, long before the grand jury announcement was made.

The FBI isn’t there to back up the cops. The FBI is there to keep an eye on the cops.
