Discussion: With Rally Set, Chris McDaniel Poised To Challenge Roger Wicker For Senate

Wow with all the news today maybe Trump is correct about mental institutions. The right has become absolutely unhinged.

Considering McDaniels views Appomattox would be a more appropriate place to hold a rally.

Making sure that Mississippi stays at the very bottom of every list.

Infighting is funny.

From a policy perspective, there is little difference between McDaniel and Wicker, particularly in the Senate. I don’t see any D taking this seat, so I see little upside in this race. That being said, I do see a bit of a silver lining if the Rs eat themselves during the primary and spend a bunch of money defending Wicker that they will not then be able to spend in the general in states like MO, NV and AZ.

How is he running as a Democrat?

  • racist
  • misogynist
  • crude “understanding” of social phenomena like gun violence
  • likes to threaten illegal action

I seem to recall that nobody has to get permission to declare party affiliation, but I have to assume McDaniel seems himself as a Republican. What gives?

EDIT: I dropped out of the The Derek Zoolander Center For Kids Who Can’t Read Good.

Looking at my checklist, it is of course obvious he is a Know-Nothing.

pretty sure this is in the Republican primary…

I did not see that in the article. McDaniel is an elected R and I think that he is challenging Wicker in the primary. Did you see something that he is running as a D?

Wow. I need to read closer. You are entirely correct.

In that case, Ima go get a pallet of popcorn.

…the “World Zionist Organization.”

Isn’t that a klezmer band? They do bar mitzvahs, right?

Actually, I think he shoud be headed for one of the new mental institutions that Herr Trump is proposing,. . . as a patient.

[McDaniel] said one of the only useful Spanish words he knew was “mamacita,” an apparent joke about cat-calling Hispanic women.

This makes a lot of sense. Mamacita means “mommy.” It is not necessarily a pejorative, but it can get you slapped, and it is someone Chris desperately needs.

Me: Discúlpeme, Senador Fresa, pendejo dice ¿Qué?
McDaniel: What?
Me: Exactamente.

Oh hell, give them both AR15’s and one 30 round magazine for each.
Turn em loose in the swamp and may the guy who comes out get the seat. lol
It is the constitutional thing to do against your enemy. isn’t it?
Seems to be the way it’s working out anymore.

More like Fort Sumter.

Hope the Democrats are ready with a strong candidate. You don’t need to peel off as many votes in Mississippi for a Dem win as you do in Alabama.

Yeah, I was wondering if it was just me who felt that things were nutty today, but I guess they really are nutty.
