Mississippi has a black population of nearly 40%, the highest in the country. The numbers are there to swing this state if people would get registered and get out and vote. I realize Republicans have done everything in their power to keep that from happening, but if it can be done in AL then it can be done in MS too.

The very thought scares the hell out of Alabama and Louisiana. If Mississippi drops its 1850s government, those two states will soon be sharing the #50 spot on state rankings.
Hey, that thought isnāt exactly spreading cheer throughout the countryside here in KY either. But when you look into the demographics itās hard to argue that MS canāt go ever so slightly, a very light baby blue. A candidate like McDaniel on the top of the ticket could be just the thing to tip the scales.

Dems donāt yet have a viable candidate lined up in Mississippi. A 34-year-old progressive named Jensen Bohren has declared himself, but his resume is hardly inspiring, to put it kindly. This is an opportunity for a new face to come along. Abortion, religion, same-sex issues would seem to be the main stumbling block for any liberal running for office there. But the Blue Wave cannot be underestimated and we must push as hard as possible here.
