Discussion: Will Bernie Sanders REALLY Parachute Into His California Rally?

But who is going to bring the shark?

Nice move by the Skydive company. Very good publicity for them. From the candidate’s perspective, a skyjump looks more like an over-the-top (literally!) response to his opponent’s very big speech yesterday. She’s winning, by the way.

Months ago, I really liked the guy, even though I’m a Clinton supporter. Now I find him rage-inducing. Every day he hangs around is a day that increases the odds of a Trump win. Dude needs to go away yesterday.

Nice metaphor for a campaign in free fall…

Notice how they haven’t released any May fundraising #'s yet – while the Clinton campaign is boasting about having raised $40 million during the month and $42 million in cash on hand. (Oh – and with more than $16 million raised for down-ticket races during May, I’m sure the super delegates are anxious to jump ship. / snark )

Perfect!

Another day, another stunt?

Skydiving? BAH! He’s going to ride in on a pagacorn, and it was shit…er…spread sparkly revolution dust all over the faithful! That’s how a REAL leader does it!

maybe a mission accomplished banner too…or sky writing?

Why does he even need a parachute? He can just use his inflated ego to make a soft landing.

Clinton: Delivered a superb foreign policy speech yesterday that eviscerated the Republican nominee.

Sanders: Thinks about skydiving into his rally.

I’d greatly doubt this. Do you think that a campaign is going to allow its candidate to risk it all with a parachute jump? Or the Secret Service, for that matter? Besides, Sanders is almost broke. How is he going to afford the insurance to cover a stunt like this?

It’s naughty of me to say, but my first thought was of the opening sequence of Triumph of the Will - the Great Savior descending from the heavens…

Parachutes are rigged. Everybody knows that!

I was thinking the same. And he is spending 1.3M on ad buys in CA, again more than Hillary (861K).

I’ll leave it here:

"“I’ve been told they will run the idea by Bernie,” president Jimmy
Halliday said. “I can’t confirm that’s the plan. I know that’s a
possibility.” LOL!!!

Why a parachute? Why not just tap his heels together three times to get to the convention, since he is living in a fantasy world anyway?

He will only attempt this if he can win the majority of the Superparachutes!
