Discussion: WikiLeaks Cancels, Then Hints At Clinton-Related October Surprise

Security concerns? I think I’m going to faint. It must be REALLY big, I can tell.

My guess is the Russians need more time to make the forged documents look more authentic.

From Wikipedia:

Wunderwaffe (German pronunciation: [ˈvʊndɐˌvafə]) is German for “Wonder Weapon” and was a term assigned during World War II by the Nazi Germany propaganda ministry to a few revolutionary “superweapons”. Most of these weapons however remained prototypes, which either never reached the combat theater, or if they did, then too late or in too insignificant numbers to have a military effect.[1]

…

In the German language the term Wunderwaffe generally refers to a universal solution which solves all problems related to a particular issue, mostly used ironically for its illusionary nature.

rockgolf nails it. IMO Assange was the target of a Putin honey trap in Sweden, thus his asylum in the Ecuadoran embassy to avoid extradition. He does his master’s bidding. Perhaps Wikileaks started legitimately, but now seems to be another Russian op. Oh, the cybers! Sad!

I see a straight line from Putin to Assange to Stone to Trump. Sad!

If they had something it would be out already . They don’t exactly have a reputation for double checking facts.

But they are building up a solid reputation for cherry picking

As a side note, there are lots of journalists reporting multiple attempts to hack their twitter feeds over the weekend.

Come on Donny , you`re teasing again , hehehe .

Still makes me nervous, I can’t deny it. Most people know nothing about Wikileaks (and even in this article it is described as a “radical transparency organization”). If the media runs with whatever bullshit Assange comes up with it won’t be good.

I get the feeling it was supposed to be some bombshell about Clinton’s taxes or something… and then Trump got outed as a tax dodging cheapskate and now he’s got to scramble to find something new to fail miserably to strike at his nemesis with.

“WikiLeaks shook up the presidential race this summer by publishing thousands of emails leaked from the Democratic National Committee.”

Ummm. That’s not even remotely true. The “race” was over and Hillary was nominated five days later – just like she was supposed to be.

She has what, 30 years of taxes out there in the public? And they release a new year every year. No…there is nothing on the front.

What I suspect is, is that the “security concern” came about because Stone said he was going to strangle the little weasel for having nothing.

No really Bigly!

Probably more weak stuff like the “basement dweller” recording. No there there. My bet is it was delayed because it’ll be lost in the current Trump tax news cycle.

I’m not a journalist, not even a frequent tweeter either, and this may or may not have to do with the said hack attempt, but got this “Your account may have been compromised by a website or service not associated with Twitter… We’ve locked your account… to keep it safe” message yesterday. A stray bullet?

Yeah - I get it - very sophisticated message.
