Discussion: WI Clerk Cites Students' Dem Lean As Reason Not To Open Campus Voting Site

Should be a voter suppression jail term involved, IMHO. Making them convicted felons is the only way these pathetic teabagger’s will learn.

She needs to be removed from her job. she clearly cannot be trusted with anything as important as voting rights.

“A Wisconsin city clerk said that she had heard students lean more toward the democrats” and cited it as a reason not to open a campus early voting site…"

The clerk “heard” this? This is a fact on the same level of knowledge as “the earth is not flat.” So stupid.

Think this will piss off many students to go the extra mile to vote?

Thus, once again proving that those who seek to improve themselves and their world always tend to be democrats…

…but what’s her excuse for refusing to enable voting? that she doesn’t approve of who they vote for??? Not her call.

This is an excellent example as to why we need to vote against gop’s down-ticket scum!

She “heard”??? What the fuck???

She should be terminated immediately and replaced by someone whose I.Q. is, at the least, room temperature, because hers definitely is not.
She’s willing to disenfranchise voters because of some anecdotal story she “heard”! :rage:

Such utter drivel. If you must keep people from voting in order to win, it’s because you have no ideas with which to win elections. It’s dumb because Republicans are just killing their party, it’s great because I want to see it shrivel up enough to flush it down the toilet.
Hi Stephen Moore your words are more prescient than you knew. LOL.

Wonder if this clerk is related to an equally deplorable clerk, Kim Davis.

Ok, how about not letting anyone vote. That way no party is favored over another…
Sheesh…

“He left in place, however, the state’s voter ID law, while ruling the state needed to do a better job of making sure voters who did not have the required ID would be able to get the free state ID available for voting. (He has since had to issue an additional order knocking the state for struggling to implement this process.)”

“Struggling.” They’re “struggling” to get those free state IDs to the voters who need them. Why do minorities have to make it so difficult? Please, vote republican, and the process will be much smoother. Thank you for your cooperation.

Exactly. Election officials are supposed to be neutral or at least not openly partial.

This should be in front of a judge by now, and if not, then tomorrow.

See – the election is rigged. By Republicans.

No site may be designated that affords an advantage to any political party.

If the statute actually says that, I wonder what the legislature had in mind. Perhaps no polling place in the local party HQ?
