The McCain attacks are part distraction, part confession. Any Trump tweet is a distraction from his horrifying policies and his expanding range of criminal liability

McCain delivered the Steele Dossier to the FBI. To Trump, that act legitimized the investigation and gave the FBI the impetus to keep pushing in spite of Trump’s massive campaign of obstruction. His laments at McCain are about his present liability exposure which he ties to the FBI investigation. He blames McCain for that.
