I think W’s little Iraq adventure took that off the table for a while.
You are wrong. No President has EVER lost a re-election campaign during an active shooting war.
NOT EVER.
Those would be the very rare and priceless grounds of covfefe seeds from the mystical world of Nambia. Accessible only to children who’s minds are small enough to climb through radar microwave ovens, hidden in the pantry of a luxury suite of the T rumpp Tower in Moscow. .

Trump has his tiny fingers busy plugging holes in the dam. Everywhere you look he is trying to stop investigations. This is a losing proposition for Trump and the Dems know it.
Which he seems to think means “it’s good to be the king” …

In response, the House committee (chaired by you-know-who) canceled the hearing altogether!
Yates then testified before a Senate committee without encumbrance.
Classic, Ralph!
Nope. Mueller never worked for the pResident. So that’s a no-go.
Executive privilege can only be invoked to prevent people who either worked directly for the pResident and Cabinet officials from testifying, regardless of whether they are subpoenaed.
