Discussion: White House: Trump Will ‘Absolutely’ Sign Joint Resolution On Charlottesville

Sure he will Sarah…right after he finishes ‘touring’ the South and then he’s gotta go check out his golf club and hopefully he’ll be able to find it on his desk when he returns and…

He’ll sign it. Otherwise Kelly won’t give him his phone back. Tough love.

Meaningless. The David Dukes of the world heard his message loud and clear.

Again, what was the point of doing this? Of course he will sign it, and it will mean absolutely nothing, but they will make a big grand show of this as him not being a racist.

What a stupid move politically that will do absolutely nothing but help Trump.

If I was in the Trump admin, I would be giddy over this. Meanwhile, David Duke, the KKK, and all the other d-bag white groups will just go on supporting him and say “well, he had to do that, but we know who he supports by his policy”

And they’d be completely right.

But will he sign his own name?

Trump’s signature is a meaningless gesture. He’s not good for his word, whether uttered, sworn on a Bible, written in ink, or scrolled in blood. He is immoral. What part of that don’t people understand?

You know he’s going to sign it with disappearing ink.

I don’t know about Trump, but I’m convinced, to our detriment, that Sarah loves her job.

“He’s been very consistent in that fact”

As consistent as a diesel engine fed gasoline is.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that ESPN’s Jemele Hill should be fired for telling the truth about Donald Trump’s support for white supremacy.

Mrs. Twit, indeed. Perhaps Sarah mugs squirrels an other small vertebrates to relieve her boredom.

Fucking dirty coward traitor will sign it after two weeks and constant hounding.

All Republicans are racist pigs. They should all suffer the same fate.

There will be a huge signing ceremony. They’re checking on the availability of Bannon, Spencer, Duke, and, of course, Sessions to attend.

So he signs a joint resolution. Big whoopty do.

He’ll sign, but his expression will be that of a hostage doing something under duress. He will then say/tweet something that contradicts the resolution within 24 hours because he needs to show Congress and Gen. Kelley that they are not the boss of me, Trump.

and all our racist troubles will simply go away.

I want him to sign it in a photo op instead of in secret, and I don’t want any “signing statements” to accompany it.

He’ll sign it because he knows he has to; I don’t know the exact rules governing a joint resolution, just that they are different from a piece of legislation sent to the President’s desk. He’ll make a big show if it, and then return to his bigoted, ignorant ways. We all know how much a Trump promise is worth…absolutely nothing.

“The President was clear in his initial statement that he condemned hatred, bigotry, racism of all forms."

On many sides, yes.

And here’s his signing statement:

“WINK WINK.”
