Discussion: White House: Trump Made It 'Very Clear' NZ Massacre Is An 'Act Of Terror'

MAGA = Motivating Australian Gunman Attacker

My guess is that he will be unable to resist reacting to someone publicly praising him, regardless of the reason. I give him a day or two to tweet something heinous, against the advice of his entire staff.

It gets worse

As the law stands now, any person age 16 or older with an entry-level firearm license can keep any number of common rifles and shotguns without an official record of those guns being kept.

Most of the guns in circulation can be sold on the internet or through ads in newspapers, and the most popular types of firearms can lawfully change hands in private homes or even hotel parking lots with no requirement that a record of the transaction be kept.

His first action, now deleted, was to twitter out the front page of notoriously anti Muslim Breitbart. This would have been after he had been briefed on how horrific the attack on the Mosque was. That was his first reaction. Then he was told by his minders to delete the obscenity and Ms. Schlapp was sent out to lie about how concerned the dotard was.

Saying nothing about the thoughts and motivations for the crime, itself. Or the Dotard’s actions in spreading those thoughts and motivations to evil people, everywhere. It is those people, after all, who support this President the most.

Reprehensible.

who gives a crap what he says or thinks anymore?
Terror for the world is what comes out of his mouth after a thought passes through his genetically defected brain.
EVERYDAY!!!

Guys this act of violence and terror is wrong and abhorrent according to our President and if you don’t agree with him on this, he’ll have his police, military and biker supporters beat the shit out of you.

POTUS did not say this was a terrorist attack hence the clean-up by staff. He said warmest sympathy or some substitute for thoughts and prayers. I want to hear it from POTUS from his mouth to the world. And he can say it like this, I condemn this act of White Supremacist terrorism on innocent Muslims who were in their mosques praying.

His administration are all effing morons.

But of course the killer did mention the dotard as a real inspiration to the white supremicist movement in his manifesto. How is Mercedes going to explain that one away at the next press availability?

you have to have a few ingredients to be able to do that.
heart, soul, empathy,
None of these exist in trump, never has, never will and unfortunately, he has spawn out here with the same shortage of those important ingredients.

Hope you can open this link to the obscene way the dotard first reacted. He may have tweeted the link to Breitbart because a few headlines down the page is an article on how dotards goons will be riled up and take on those being mean to him on the playground.

Second verse, same as the first. And very boilerplate, at that. Substitute the location of the mass murder, the religion that was targeted, and the number of people killed, and it’s straight from the heart and mind of the NRA.

Not to get into another story, but I think it’s clear society changed for the worse in how mass murders were carried out because of the Columbine massacre. Live coverage, media rushing to the scene, putting it on TV, books followed which tried and failed to analyze the “why?” of it, the realization weapons were easy to get, etc. This Australian could have carried out these murders in this country, and the same scenario as Columbine’s (and Parkland and Tree of Life’s) would have played out. Anger, acceptance, burials.

That is very, very surprising. Prohibited are seeds that could be on the sole of your boots from camping in the Rockies, but the import of any firearm is A-OK. I do not get that.

So clear, in fact, that we’re here to clarify it.

Very true. Mass murders are most definitely changing the narrative about guns in this country. Thus far, the NRA has been successful in eliminating any serious discussion of the roles guns play in the ability of any individual to randomly, or specifically kill multitudes of people. However, as this world sees more and more people so thoughtlessly killed, and so many people killed for shallow, political, and religious reasons, nobody can afford to sit by any longer, and let the narrative be dictated to us. This president has unleashed the culture where this type of uncivil discourse is allowed, and since his election, this level of incivility toward others has flourished. All of this means that this president currently poses a direct threat to the lives and safety of others. He has normalized hatred and acts of violence against Muslims, against gays, against Jews, against immigrants…He must be stopped.

The Australians have some experience with imported wild-life and NZ doesn’t want to repeat that…

I am very familiar with the Resource Management Act in NZ. I’m also very aware of the opossums that were brought into NZ, and now pose a rather serious threat to actual native wildlife and habitat. I do get their motivations in wanting to preserve their island resources. I do not understand their blind eye toward guns.
