Discussion for article #238292
So this week the Republicans have managed to alienate the LGBT community, the Latino community, the Black community, and it’s only Thursday. Who is next on their “outreach” list? They’re actually lucky to have Trump mouthing off, as it takes the focus off of the rest of them who are his equal.
“So when you hear me say that congressional Republicans have an agenda that is out of step with the vast majority of Americans, this record, at least in part, is what I’m referring to,” Earnest continued.
Please tell me Earnest Josh dropped the mic after he got through dropping science.
“These are the same house Republicans who voted for a party leader who once described himself as ‘David Duke without the baggage,’”
Hahahaha!

Good for the WH to get this out there since it is not being reported many places. Nice one.

That’s a feature, not a bug. “Out of step with the vast majority of Americans” is the defining feature of the Republican Party.
They are the Party of white hedge fund managers and CEOs.
I wish the White House would come out quick slappin’ a little more often –
Get used to it Republicans. You happen to be wrong on everything.
Yet when it comes time to vote we’ll have to convince a sizable portion of our electorate (who are currently witnessing this GOP meltdown) that both parties are NOT the same and that voting does work.
The GOP loves those memes as it keeps them in power.
But they want us to believe they’re not racists. They are. They are racists, misogynists, homphobes, and they’re “Christian” jihadis, to boot.
Ha!
In my mind I choose to picture this statement ending like the scene from “Half Baked” when the one guy quits his fast food job…
“F-ck you, F-ck you, F-ck YOOUU, Your cool… F-ck you, I’m out!”
Why should only republicans live in their own made up reality?
Yes. More of This Please.
So glad he made the direct link with Scalise/David Duke. That’s what we’re dealing with here. White Supremacists are still a large contingent of the current GOP base and its leadership. Fucking Evil Bigoted Assholes. This hasn’t got a fucking thing to do with “heritage”.
…Memes happily propagated by the corporate owned media…
BIG TenT FULL of STALE pale MALEs.
Someone needs to pass out the Constitution of the Confederacy, with the sections on “negro slavery” highlighted. Maybe someone in Congress read it to them on the floor tomorrow.
Yes. A thousand times, yes. The media will do all they can to help out the GOP on this, pulling out false equivalency cards whenever needed and getting their talking points from the RNC as need be.
Obama could have / should have been more proactive in knocking down the GOP his entire term. He’s hardly ever used his bully pulpit to advantage. However, he’s done almost nothing for We The People anyhow, so no wonder he decided to hide his entire presidency, and speak only lies. That he can handle. It’s his nature to lie like a rug because he is a born coward.
“These are the same congressional Republicans who have declined to criticize the race-baiting rhetoric of a leading Republican presidential candidate.”
Republicans criticize race-baiting rhetoric? Hell, they (literally) wrote the playbook on it.
Lee Atwater actually bragged about reducing the term “the working poor” to complete dogwhistle among the GOP base – awfully clever of him, given how much of that base is working poor.
Republicans haven’t just perfected race-baiting rhetoric; they own it.
The White House and Congressional Democrats should NOT let up! If the party of Lincoln wants to the treasonous Confederate States of America and its battle flag against preserving the Union…then let them…
So THAT’S what Teathugs mean when they say they love the Constitution! 'Cause they sure don’t seem to follow ours very well.
