And he continues to wonder why none of his GOP colleagues protect him…

He’s where he is b/c he pledged throughout his campaign to repeal and replace ACA with something wonderful and that he’d never touch medicade, SS or medicare…well it looks like hes planned on doing just the opposite and dont think that folks that voted for him or against him arent taking note…

Democrats should promise that whoever their candidate is in 2020, he/she will be the President, not the Blamer-In-Chief. They should promise that the buck will stop with them, as a former Democratic President once said, and not like Republican occupants who always point the finger somewhere else.

Making American Great Again by not taking a scintilla of responsibility for anything. The loved “uneducated” voters feel a great kinship with this victim, our president. No job, no healthcare, no RESPECT, dammit - it’s someone else’s fault.

The leader of the party of “personal responsibility” does not accept personal responsibility. I get it!!

Translation: “The President is prepared to take all the credit, but none of the blame.”

But he’s such a great deal maker. Everything is so easy and people are just too stupid to make the right deal to solve any problem. Only he can fix it. It can’t be that all of that talk was just more BS from a con man?

This is why it was such a terrible idea to torch your credibility bitching about inauguration crowds, Sarah/Sean.

Because in a narrow sense you are right. If McConnell can’t whip the members of his caucus, that’s not strictly the President’s fault or the President’s job. But you act so resolutely against the truth and against credibility and against decency that you will get not one shred of the benefit of the doubt.

That is to say, a smart person picks their battles. And, uh, y’all definitely didn’t.

So if it fails, the blame is not on him but on his Congressional minions. But if it passes, he’ll take all the credit.

Those Republicans are incredibly servile – in the real world quite a few people, if they have that luxury, would quit right away if that type were their boss. And those people (I mean Republicans) do have that luxury.

Unsurprising. His most recent, and maybe most successful, business model has been to lend his name (the supposed value of which probably constitutes a large chunk of his alleged fortune) to various enterprises. Often his only involvement in real estate projects these days is to license the use of his name, while others do the actual, you know, building.
