Scholars.

I don’t think that means what you think it means.

Sarah, nobody talks this way.

Wait, I take that back. OJ Simpson talked this way. “If I did it”, and all.

It is amazing as to how stupid these people are. A President cannot pardon himself.

By traitor Trump’s argument, he could kill any member of Congress who would vote to impeach him then immediately pardon himself for the murders.

And Rudy already claimed Trump could not be indicted for any crime while in office.

This fucker needs to be removed immediately

However, we continue to cooperate.”

I’d hate to see what not cooperating looks like.

My guess would be this…

“Thankfully the President hasn’t done anything wrong and wouldn’t have any need for a pardon,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday…

Then she led White House staffers in a rousing cheer of, “Lock her up! Lock her up!”

Josh is hinting there may be something up with the possibility that Trump and Putin had a private face-to-face talk about a cover story for the Trump Tower meeting. If something breaks it’s a pretty major double scoop of collusion and obstruction.

There was no collusion. There was no obstruction. There was a certain amount of cobstrusion, however.

He hasn’t done anything wrong, but we’ve been talking about a pardon for months now. OK, sure, fine.

You’d think the obvious follow-up:

If the President has done nothing wrong, then why is he even bringing this up?

Yeah, thank Dog there were American witnesses in that meeting so he can quickly clear up any misunderstandings…

As an aside, “hasn’t done anything wrong” is sad, weak language. Cowardly and prostrate. It’s what you say when you’re losing. “But I didn’t do anything wrong, Ms. Secondgradeteacher! Honest!”, with your hands covered in cookie crumbs.

Your boss doesn’t like being talked about like he’s powerless and infantile. Gosh, I sure hope he doesn’t take it out on you.

Seems apt.

Just subbing here but…hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!

It seems to me, then, that the White House would happily sign a bill specifying that a a President can not pardon himself.

Right?

Just some locker room talk, you know? Golf banter, waitress rating, and hypothetical constitutional scholarship.
