Oh My God! The president just said that Bernie is not qualified to be president.

Bernie really should not have said that.

It doesnā€™t count unless Josh Earnest says it. :sunglasses:

He has been ā€˜non-endorsingā€™ endorsing her from the time he said that Sanders was the latest shiny object.

I really love this. Obama is a popular president and I have thought all along that running against his record was a mistake for Bernie. However, Bernie is running a very strange campaign in general for a Democrat as Iā€™ve said; because it has never been a fact-based campaign. He makes claim after claim about what he is going to do and has no idea how, and he makes economic claims that a majority by now of left leaning economists have been at pains to point out to him are wrong. He claims they are Hillary supporters. He wonā€™t accept facts that disprove his claims and thatā€™s what the right does.

How strange that the spokesman for the sitting Democratic President says the only Democrat running in the race is best qualified.

Now letā€™s get President Obama saying it on camera in front of a cheering crowd, please.

But is the President qualified to be President???

Obama just tacitly endorsed her (again.) Not even a mention of Sanders qualifications. This will send his campaign into fits of outrage. I fully expect them to up the Obama attacks now. It may keep Sanders supporters motivated, but it will rip the mask off his campaign for every other democrat.

I think itā€™ll depend on the polling in NY. If it looks really close the president might just come on off the bench and endorse, or deliver a statement in which he does everything but explicitly endorse her. Sanders hasnā€™t exactly been a friend to him, and I tend to think heā€™s probably actually been a pain in the ass for the president, so I donā€™t know that Obama would feel the need to be loyal to someone who hasnā€™t been loyal to him.

Well, itā€™s true. She does have the most experience in recent history. Sheā€™s eminently qualified to be the next POTUS.

You may be right about when he does it but given the incredibly classiness and deliciousness of this President, he may just wait. I think he knows the numbers for Bernie donā€™t add up. Obama knows about votes and delegates.

He is on the teevee right now speaking in Chicago where he taught classes. God he looks sooo good - heā€™s so smart. I just hate to see him go. Might I add, I love the way he uses that left hand of his to express himself. I love left handed people and they do tend to be smarter than right handed folks. He is now talking about Mertrick Garland
