Discussion: WH Has Reportedly Backed Down From Trump's Border Wall Funding Threat

Yes they will.

According to Rawstory, Ryan didn’t just say he didn’t agree with repealing DACA, he asked Trump not to, at least not right now.

It’s extremely unpopular with Americans - it’s breaking a promise and he and the GOP will really pay for it if he does it.

sooooo much WINNING!!! (tRUmpian version that is)

and the Dems, holy shit, who knew that they could withstand the AWESOME negotiating POWER of tRUmp, and top it off with halting all work in DC from a “hold no power” minority position, Pelosi and Shumer obstructing everything and showing how it is done, if only R’s would take note, we would be WAY BEYOND MAGA, and on to AIGALKSMA (America Is Great Again Lets Kick Some More Ass) (trademarked be me MFer’s so don’t even try it), we could print up Pepe green hats with AIGALKSMA embroidered on the front, and three little fingers making a “w” off of the top, gotta show some white pride while at it too, enhances the AIGALKSMA

FREEDUMB!!!

On a Friday night, Labor Day weekend? Without a doubt. It’s a slam dunk.

But wait, let’s think about what great President he truly could be…

“I think we have to have some patience. I do,” [said Sen.] Feinstein Tuesday at a Commonwealth Club event in San Francisco. “It’s eight months into the tenure of the presidency … We’ll have to see if he can forget himself and his feeling about himself enough to be able to really have the kind of empathy and the kind of direction that this country needs. The question is whether he can learn and change,” she added. “If so, I believe he can be a good president.”

We were navigating the web (such as it was) back in 1983 on VAX 11/780’s from Digital Equipment Corporation (remember them?) and Tektronix graphics terminals using ARPANET.

I believe that too.

I must admit that there are times that I seriously wonder about Dianne Feinstein.

Having the democrats praise him is a great way to destroy his credibility with his base. They already think he is surrounded by dems.

If/when Feckless Leader feels He can no longer do a good job of “schooling” America, He will decide to not be America’s CEO any more

Nope. Pushed back to Tuesday. (Yes, I realize this was posted after you made your comment.)

Hopefully, by December, the only thing ‘Biggles’ will be able to demand is the delousing of his cell.

And even then he will have to wait in line.

Damn right she is!
Thankee!

Precisely. The GOP congressmen and Senators may FINALLY be waking up to the fact that Trump folds like a cheap paper flower whenever he meets any difficulty or challenge.

It’s a sound strategy: Fox/Breitbart report the threat and then Trump quietly backs down. His ignorant base will continue to believe he fights for them and the promise/threat goes down the memory hole.

Well, guess I have to burn my Tarot Cards, based on the WH Spox. Of course the night is young, and historically the WH Spox hasn’t had a clue as to what the Pres will do

Oh darn, I was looking forward to the temper tantrum.

When faced with a choice to take action, or not take action, Trump will choose the former. It makes him feel powerful. It doesn’t matter the action or the consequence of the action.

Trounce may as well have threatened a giant cone of silence. It sounds so much cooler but is not going to be built either, ever, ever.

Oh, and he wants to help fund the never going to be built wall with stolen disaster relief funds, because who needs those. DOH!!

Oh please they never intended to build a wall. All the wall tak is for his pep rallies that’s why he has all his idiot base thinking all news is fake so that they don’t ask questions.
