Of course they backed down! Trump always backs down. He always backs down because heās signaled that every threat is empty, every line in the sand is ephemeral-to-nonexistent. He is systematically cowardly, unable to stand tall and proud knowing that he has strength in numbers and institutions behind him. He speaks only for himself, and thatās why he is the weakest president in living memory, maybe ever.

Tax cuts will never balance the nonexistent budget. Most budgets (household, company, and national) need to take in as much as they spend to be ābalancedā If there is debt then income must be increased.to compensate. I realize the GOPers donāt understand this and so they think the federal government can increase its income by cutting taxes.
Welp hereās a simple graph to illustrate what I mean. I must predicate this by saying the Clinton years benefited because of a very strong economy in addition to their tax increases.
The red indicates GHW Bush and GW Bush years
Point being if ya wanna lower the deficit and debt you need to increase taxes.
