Well, itās āup to Bobā whether to testify or not but itās āup to Barrā how much Mueller can say. Just ask Mueller how much the OLC memo influenced his decision!
āUp to Bobā, eh?
LowBarr knew perfectly well that Spankeeās lawyers would try to pull this and thus it would never be āup to Bobāā¦
How do we know LowBarr is lying? He opens his mouthā¦
Well itās up to Bob as long as he says he wonāt. Otherwise itās up to Donald.
Doesnāt matterā¦more (much more) will be coming to light. The analogy I would use is a scenario of a 100-mile wide iceberg being towed to the Dutch seashore.
Trump cannot stop thisā¦the information on his corruption, criminality and obstruction.
How can Trump invoke executive privilege over material already made public?
How can Trump invoke executive privilege over matters that happened prior to his inauguration?
How can Trump invoke executive privilege over matters that he was not an participant of after he became President?
And this idea maybe dumb but,
If he his invoking his executive privilege over all kinds of matters that tax payers donāt get hear about then the cost of said investigation should be deducted from his salary and/or all future salary until such time that the cost has been paid in full. There should be cost associated with privilege, and that privilege shouldnāt be cheap
The same way that the government has (in past administrations) classified material that was already in the public domainā¦
Heck, executive privilege is whatever Roberts will let him get away with.
We may not really have any other choice, but this is a clear example of why playing strictly by the rules is so often a losing proposition. One reason that so many terrible people end up with large amounts of power and money is because the good people got stopped well down the ladder precisely because they were restrained by being good people.
It is odd how often āNational Securityā coincides with āthis would be embarassing.ā
Yeah, just remember back a few years ago, the head of the NSA testifying that nope, no Americans were being spied on. And the Senators kept trying to get him to answer the truth, they knew it from their classified briefings, but he was comfortable lying in public.
Took Snowden to reveal that he was lying his fucking ass off. I fully expect weāll be relying on a similar brave move to crack this open.
Anything embarrassing might be used by our enemies to humiliate us! Therefore, have to keep it secret.
There is no āplan.ā There is no āstall.ā
Itās called obstruction.
Mueller aināt no hero, heās a zero.
Heās a man with absolutely nothing to lose by standing up and doing whatās right for the country.
The fact that he hasnāt already spoken up tells me all I need to know about his involvement in the cover-up and conspiracy.
Remember, Olā āHeroā Bob is one of the guys that lied to us about Iraq and WMDs. Hey pal thanks for your service. You should be in jail for that one alone.
āOne reason that so many terrible people end up with large amounts of power and money is because the good people got stopped well down the ladder precisely because they were restrained by being good people.ā
let me see. so, for the sake of the common good, good people should be bad? sounds perilous.
Hair GropenFĆ¼ror is already an embarrassment and no secret.
It isnāt any recommendation, just a statement about an unfortunate coincidence that isnāt entirely a coincidence.
Weāre getting very close to the point where the metaphorical guns of law and order will be blazing against this treasonous regime. Iām thinking that Independence Day will have a whole new meaning in 2019. Meaning that, the heaviest page will be turned by then. Still a long way to go from there, but major shift change Iām thinking/hoping for.
It will be time for all Americans to roll up their sleeves and do some serious bitch slapping on these traitors. Hell, itās time now.
That comes in contrast with Attorney General William Barrās latest remarks to the WSJ, when he said it was āup to Bobā whether he wants to testify.
Psstt. Bill Barrās a liar, just like Nancy said.
Well said.
Yes, all of these executive privilege claims are puzzling.
Itās my understanding that privilege cannot be claimed for criminal behavior. The executive has no right to keep his own criminal behavior confidential.
Also, since these were not discussions between the executive and his staff, but rather an independent investigation of the executive, how does that get twisted into something the executive can control and suppress?
Have we impeached the motherfucker yet?
Nobody is listening to us and itās still supposed to be our country. So pitchforks, torches, whatever it takes.
