Discussion: WH Brainstorms Ways To Smoke Out Op-Ed Author: Lie Detector Tests, Sworn Affidavits

Frankly, I’m surprised they haven’t blamed it on her yet. Only a matter of time.

“”“Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) suggested President Donald Trump make his advisers take a polygraph test”"" well of Libertarian of him.

Funny, but the very next WH staffer to resign will be singled out as the op-ed writer. Even funnier, all the other staffers will point to that ‘leaver’ as evidence THEY didn’t do it!

Hilarious hijinks for sure!

Also, they used their freedom of speech to tell about how they actively work against the President to subvert him. Depending on what form that resistance takes, it would range from a fireable offense to a felony to treason. My guess is, most likely, it is illegal at best.

This person who wrote this oped is an idiot.

Can you imagine the entire staff of the WH agreeing to a polygraph? They all have something to hide and of course the WH would not limit the questions to this oped, it would be a wide ranging test of complete loyalty. Good luck!

They should do it live on stage at his next rally. Anyone who fails the test will be publicly flayed - or maybe deep fried and fed to the crowd.

And do it on a reality tv show produced by Mark Burnett. (That whore will do anything for money, including hiding tapes of Trump being a racist a$$hole.) Let’s call it WHITE HOUSE WATERBOARDING.

I don’t know if it is true or not but I have heard of guards at the big radar station in Greenland standing in the beam to get warm.

Exactly. “Lie detectors” are completely pseudo-scientific bunk. They “work”, in as much as they produce results, by the subject believing that they have some special insight into his truthfulness. Which means, they tend to find “guilt” in the less educated, and more superstitious. It is not coincidental that lie detector results are deemed inadmissible in a court of law.

On the other hand, Rand Paul should have been laughed off The Hill years ago, so par for the course with this.

Also, I should note that the “signed statements used against them in court” is 90% complete bluster / intimidation tactic as well. It would be exceedingly hard to use a signed statement like this against someone in court. Not that Trump and his “crack”(pot) legal team wouldn’t try. And it would work on some, because Trump would pour a million dollars into the legal pursuit and the target of his ire would not be able to respond at the same scale. So, again, you have a tactic that works by unfair intimidation, and so is far more likely to find a “vulnerable” target than the average target. But, completely in line with Trump’s track record, so to be expected.
